The service has continued to decline ever since the Bridgeport location closed, and this salon has become consistently understaffed and poorly managed. Wait times are routinely over an hour, which is unacceptable. Today was the final straw. I walked in and the salon was completely empty, yet the check-in screen showed eight names ahead of me. I checked in and was told “give me one minute” while the employee cleaned her station. During that minute, every person ahead of me physically walked in. Because of that delay, I was bumped to the bottom of the list and told the wait would now be at least an hour. There were only two people working at the time. Had the employee acted with any urgency, I would have been serviced—I was physically in the salon before anyone else arrived. I understand that others checked in ahead of me, but if customers are not physically present, there should be flexibility. Most people would have understood servicing the customer who was already there and ready. This is not a one-off experience. It’s always like this now. This location has gone from good to bad incredibly fast, and the lack of staffing and urgency is glaring. As a local resident, I will be letting others know how poor the service has become. Never again. I expect better from Great Clips.

I clearly and very slowly in the simplest english possible explained what I wanted and even then not one of them can follow simple instructions. everytime they make me feel the same way. not once have I left happy. everytime something or the other they mess up and I end up looking like a dork with 20 bucks outta my pocket. Trust me, if you want a good haircut, just spend a few bucks more and go to a place where the barber actually UNDERSTANDS simple english.
