  Stepping into Diptyque Chicago felt like being transported back to Paris. The boutique is beautiful. It is refined, intimate, and effortlessly chic. We had long admired the brand and were excited to finally experience it in person. Steven welcomed us warmly and guided us through the collection with such kindness and expertise. His knowledge and passion really elevated the experience. We found the perfect diffuser, a scent that now holds special memories and was the most beautiful way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We will absolutely return to shop with Steven again. A lovely experience from beginning to end!

  I just had the most wonderful sales experience here! The associate was so friendly and knowledgeable, and was able to guide me to a few suggested scents based off my restrictions (migraine) and preferences. I’ve been wanting to visit a Diptyque store for years - not willing to blind buy such an expensive product - and this was SO worth it! The Orpheon I left with is an absolutely stellar fragrance (literally, it smells like a starry night in the woods to me). Will definitely be back next time I’m in Chicago!

  last sunday (january 11) i had an absolutely wonderful experience all due to reiner! she (and the other store associates) were incredibly attentive and gave wonderful recommendations—really proving their expertise on not only diptyque’s offerings but also fragrance in general! (another side note: every single associate in there was dressed absolutely beautifully) sometimes, it can be a bit intimidating coming into a rather upscale store (especially as a young lady) but everyone was super down to earth and did not have even a modicum of snobbish-ness about them! what a lovely and welcoming group of people(: the second i walked in i was greeted very warmly, and i did not feel intimidated at all! reiner chatted with me for a while about different scents and really created a truly memorable experience for me. she also listened to a story about my grandmother (who is extraordinarily dear to me) and showed me the most perfect candle which smells like my grandma’s favorite flower—lily of the valley! i even got the option to engrave her name into it. i will treasure this forever, and i have reiner to thank! she is so kind, truly the most warm, amiable, considerate, and caring aura about her. i wish her nothing but love and light! thank you for making my trip to diptyque so special!!!!

  What an absolutely fabulous experience at Maison de Diptyque Chicago with Renier! It's a bit overwhelming at first but Renier walked me through the store and products, thoughtfully pulling samples for me to smell (key word thoughtfully because I didn't want to smell everything). She took careful note of my reactions and was able to steer me in the right note/fragrance family direction. I left with a bag full of goodies beautifully wrapped that I am so excited to use! I highly recommend you stop in at this boutique- I dare you to leave without purchasing something. Ask for Renier for a truly bespoke shopping experience. Bonus: Renier was able to identify a Diptyue perfume I bought 14 years ago at the Holt Renfrew in Montreal and could never remember the name of. I was amazed she was able to find it (L'Eau) given the limited description I provided ("warm & spicy") 😂. Renier knows her Diptyque fragrances!

  Honestly one of the worst perfume shopping experiences I’ve ever had. The atmosphere of the store seems very elitist and snobbish, so if you don’t appear to be their typical shopper demographic they don’t care to entertain you. The man working there was particularly rude and refused to let me smell some perfumes while another couple was shopping which I’ve also never seen before. The customer service at Le Labo around the corner is a million times better
