  I’ve been a loyal customer and have been using the same SPF for over a year, so I felt comfortable purchasing a new bottle in advance. However, when I recently opened it, I noticed the product had a green tinge, which is not something I’ve ever seen before with this item. While the consistency seemed similar, the color difference made me concerned about a potential issue with the batch or product integrity, and I did not feel comfortable applying it to my face on a daily basis. Tiffany, a staff member, told me that I’m past the return window and that it’s just the way that the pigment didn’t mix/sit in the bottle. Fair enough, but I’m well aware that color shift in SPF can sometimes indicate formulation inconsistency, oxidation, or improper storage, which is not always unsafe, but definitely worth questioning. I’m not attempting to get a refund for my product, or even exchange it for a different one, I just needed the same product without a possible bacterial contamination or manufacturing issue. Although the product was eventually exchanged, the overall experience left me feeling uneasy as a longtime customer.

  I went into Credo at the Damen location to exchange two items I had been given as a gift, using the gift receipt totaling $65. I was clear at the register that I wanted to exchange them, I had the new items with me. Instead, the associate processed a refund back to the original purchaser’s card. It’s highly embarrassing that the person who gave me the gift will now see that the items have been returned. When I pointed out that this was not what I had asked for, I was told the transaction was “done” and to contact customer service. So now I’m left without any gift. It was clearly a mistake made by the store, yet no one took any responsibility or made any attempt to fix it. They said they were clearly busy, wanted me to move on and made me feel I was being unreasonable asking for a gift card. I left feeling very upset, by the mistake, but mostly how it was handled and how I was treated. I was told to contact customer service myself to sort out an error made in store felt dismissive and unfair. This should have been a simple exchange.

  I wanted to love this store as they carry all my favorite brands but yesterday was my final straw. I went in to exchange a gift I received, the employee acknowledged that it was purchased the day before and could see it on the persons account. Helped me select an item to exchange it for, walked my up to the register and then RETURNED the item to the original card used by the person I received the gift from and basically said “so sorry, that’s how the system works” while they were incredibly apologetic, I walked out without any products and I am too embarrassed to let the gift giver know so here we are. Aside from this, the constant hounding by brand reps and not being left alone to browse is exhausting. Just go down the street to blue mercury.

  I specifically went into the store because they were having a promotion where if you spent a certain amount you got a complimentary candle. I went into the store, asked about the promotion and a sales associate showed me the candle and raved about its scent and burn time. I browsed the store and upon selecting my purchases in around 20m, the associate checking me out informed me after ringing me up that they were out of the promotional candle (despite still having many on the floor). There was no indication when I asked about the promotion upon entering the store that quantities were limited. The sales associate who helped me with my makeup was very attentive, thus the 2 instead of 1 star. Based on this, I will be avoiding credo beauty in the future and making purchases at one of the many other retailers that carry the same products.

  I bought Dore at a small store while traveling with a friend. I took it home with me and loved it so much, I decided to send a bottle to my friend for her birthday. Of course, I ordered it sent to her home since we live in different states, I told my friend to be on the outlook for the gift. However, Credo sent the gift to me instead of my friend. When I contacted them they refused to acknowledge their error. I understand all small companies have revenue problems but I offered to send them back what they sent me. In the meantime. I asked them to send the order to my friend. They would not agree to do so.
