  For all your eyebrow needs go to Brad. He is so educated and turned my eyebrows into flawless brows. I’ve always struggled bc I don’t have a lot of hair but he gave me a natural tint and shaped them perfectly. I’ve been going to him for months and will continue to go for years to come. And he is the nicest person and helped me with getting the right products

  I can’t say enough good things about Bradley! I’ve literally followed him to multiple Ulta locations because he’s just that good. When it comes to my brows, I’m extremely particular and only trust people who truly know what they’re doing—and Bradley is absolutely one of those rare experts. He’s a total master of his craft. I never feel like I need to over-explain what I want because he just gets it every single time. My brows always come out looking clean, perfectly shaped, and natural—not overdone(proof in the pic below, not to toot my own horn but my brows are sickening) . If you’re someone who doesn’t trust just anyone with your brows, Bradley is 100% your person. I wouldn’t go to anyone else!

  This is a review for the Benefit Brow Bar regarding Bradley (Brad). I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel like this needs to be said because I have never experienced a worse service in my life. I want to start by saying I don’t think Brad is necessarily a bad aesthetician for every client. I have seen positive reviews, but unfortunately I seem to be the exception. I love Benefit Brow Bar and have been to multiple locations with consistently amazing experiences. However, I would never recommend this particular location to anyone. I left in tears. When I booked my appointment, I selected an aesthetician named Elizabeth. When I arrived, Brad came out and said, “I’ll just do your brows because Elizabeth doesn’t do Benefit, I do.” I was confused about why I was able to book with Elizabeth in the first place, but I went along with it. Brad immediately began telling me how many years he has been doing brows and essentially walked me through his resume without me asking. I assumed I was in good hands. However, unlike my previous experiences, he never asked what I wanted before mapping my brows. I mentioned that I would like to go a little thinner and just clean them up. He commented that my brows had cowlicks and that he did not like how they grow, which felt unprofessional and unnecessary. He said he was going to “fix” them. I told him I have never been told I have cowlicks in my brows and said the usual “eyebrows are sisters, not twins.” He replied, “Sometimes even cousins.” That is not something you say to a client who is trusting you with their face. When he finished waxing and handed me the mirror, I was in complete shock. Not only were there numerous hairs clearly missed, including small hairs near the eyelid that absolutely should have been cleaned up, but a big chunk of my eyebrow had been completely waxed off. It was uneven, noticeably thinner in one area, and looked nothing like the natural shape I came in with. I could not believe what I was seeing. When I pointed out the missed hairs, he joked, “Oh, I think I need to get my eyes checked and change my prescription.” That is not something you say while performing a service that requires precision, especially when your client’s eyes are closed and they are trusting you. Meanwhile, I was sitting there with a visible chunk of my brow missing. He then proceeded to thread my brows, even though I specifically booked a wax and had already told him I preferred waxing. Threading over freshly waxed skin felt unnecessary and caused additional irritation. At that point, I just wanted to leave. I lied and told him I liked them, thanked him, and walked out holding back tears. My boyfriend even tipped him because we were both so uncomfortable. Afterward, I went to another Benefit Brow Bar location. They immediately acknowledged that my brows had been botched. They were incredibly kind, comforting, and professional. They offered complimentary services to help fix what they could and genuinely cared about how I was feeling. I was at a loss for words and in tears, and they handled the situation with compassion and grace. They encouraged me to reach out to Ulta for a refund. Thankfully, the Ulta manager was understanding, apologized, and processed a refund without any hassle. I could not bring myself to go back inside, so my boyfriend went in for me, and the refund was handled smoothly. I truly appreciate how professionally the manager responded and how quickly the situation was resolved. While I will continue going to other Benefit Brow Bar locations that have treated me well, I cannot recommend this specific location based on my experience. If you’re looking to get your brows done in the downtown Chicago area, I HIGHLY recommend the Benefit Brow Bar located in Macy’s in the loop. They will take care of you there and you will leave feeling beautiful.
