  I visited the Sephora in Kohls at Chicago Ridge Mall. This is my usual store that i shop at and the workers there are usually really good, however, when i visited Sephora last week, the girl who helped me really didn't seem too knowledgable. I asked if they carried MAC's Lip Erase and she kind of hesitated and seemed to be thinking and then said she wasn't sure and told me they just started carrying MAC and so their inventory is extremely limited right now. I couldn't help but think that judging from her reaction, she had no idea what Mac's Lip Erase was. Which is completely understandable, i do not expect them to know every single makeup item. I took it upon myself to check the Mac display to see if they carried it yet (they did not). After a little more browsing, I approached her once again and told her I was looking for a concealer that i could not remember the name of but i told her i knew it was called "Boing" or something similar. She had no clue what i was talking about (once again) and told me if i visited another Sephora i would more than likely find what i was looking for, as standalone stores have way more of a selection. I ended up finding the concealer on my own (It's Benefit's Boing Professional Concealer- they didn't carry that either). It was later in the day, about 8pm and i believe the store was going to close at 9pm so i wasn't shopping at the last minute or while they were trying to close, however, i couldn't help but feel like she was trying to get rid of me or i was pulling her away from something she wanted to get back to. After approximately 30 minutes in the store, I was about to leave when i remembered that I needed blush and, once again, my menopausal brain could not -FOR THE LIFE OF ME- remember the name of the blush or who made it. So i went up to her, again, (don't judge me) apologized for bothering her so much, and tried to explain the blush i was looking for. It actually comes in a box or box-like packaging and is a highly purchased line but i couldn't remember the brand/name. She didn't even pretend to try and help me figure it out, she just immediately turned around, grabbed the first blush she saw, and asked if that was it. I tried to explain to her that it comes in an actual box, a small square box, but she went on to say "hmmm....maybe you should check our website, there are a ton more products on there. I think you will have an easier time finding what you're looking for, or go to a different Sephora that is a stand alone store".... Basically, my review is just to communicate that I think Sephora would benefit greatly to hire employees that are familiar with trendy , popular products. It was obvious this girl had no idea about anything. And for the cherry on the top: I told her I needed a large fluffly face brush for applying my setting powder. I asked for whichever brush is her most best - selling, highest rated, face brush. She handed me a blush brush.

  I went into Sephora to try to find a concealer and a setting spray for a trip I had coming up. I was helped by Keyon and he took one look at me and matched me to the perfect concealer that I absolutely love! He even went to the back to get me a fragrance I inquired about. He gave me a great experience and I think he needs a promotion.

  The two guys closing on feb 14th are the sweetest. They are so helpful I felt so comfortable shopping!

  I came to get my girlfriend a Valentine’s Day gift today, the employees were rude and unhappy to help, didn’t know how to give people change properly and on top of everything gave me an attitude. Very unprofessional.

  Tried returning an item that I purchased at the Kohl's Sephora at Ford city. Would not let me return as they said it wasn't in the system. Would stay clear from all Sephoras inside Kohl's. What's the purpose of putting my number in self checkout if my purchases aren't going to be stored
