  As a nurse I was really excited to take my 3 year old here to have her ears pierced. I also hardly ever write reviews… but here goes. They do not seem comfortable with piercing children. They told me I could not have my daughter on my lap while they pierced both ears, she would have to feel comfortable sitting in the chair (large leather chair) by herself to have them pierced at the same time in case she jerks. That makes zero sense. It would be way more unsafe for her to jerk and slide out of that large leather chair. Or the other option was sitting on my lap but they could only do one ear at a time . I opted for the piercings at the same time and thank god it went well. The nurse that did our appointment never smiled and never tried to connect with my daughter (nurse Mari). She made me feel like this was really something she would rather not be doing. Honestly came off very rude. Maybe she is just not used to kids. The atmosphere is cute, that’s about it. It will also cost you $150 for their most basic earrings. Pretty ridiculous. If I did it over again I would go somewhere else. They should maybe advertise better that children are not their expertise.

  I went to Rowan to get my ears pierced after getting a botched job done at Claire's when I was little. Hannah pierced my ears and she was so comforting and reassuring. She answered all my questions and so did the other nurses. I got both my ear lobes pierced and the pain was definitely tolerable just a little pinch and then it's over. It is pricey but for the quality and throughness it is a good price. I do recommend ,if you can, going in a day before to get a price break down, get any questions answered, and look at the earnings they have so you can get an idea of what you want for the next day.100% recommended and will 100% be going back for another piercing.

  Such a bad experience at this salon!! Took my 5 year old for her very first piercing for her 5th birthday. Unfortunately the gun got stuck in the back of her ear, so they had to yank and pull to get it off. With barely an apology at check out… I am not expecting free but I figured some kind of discount for the bad experience for her to be leaving crying!!! I have been for multiple Rowan’s since and never have I experienced that. If you do go here Mabe ask to not have nurse Mari.. I WILL SAY this was in September of last year. But her ear has just now healed…
