- NXNegen XMar 1, 20261.0Traci, was stylist realized after she was halfway thru the instruments were not sterilized, she also did not sterilize them before the customer after me. No certification or licensing present at location. My hair is completely screwed up as well. Will never use any great clips franchise in my life. First and last time customer. Wouldn't recommend to an enemy. Seriously this person does not understand how to cut hair. My 10 year old would have done a better job. Avoid this place like the plague.

During my visit, another customer became extremely rude and started going off about his personal beliefs, creating an uncomfortable situation for everyone in the store. Dusten handled it with calm, professionalism, and respect far more grace than most people could manage. He stayed focused on his work and treated everyone with dignity despite the behavior. That said, Great Clips should seriously consider setting firmer boundaries with clients especially in times like these so employees aren’t put in situations like this. The guy got mad about a rainbow pin for christs sake. Huge kudos to Dusty for representing your brand so well under pressure.

From a outside viewpoint this location has always struggled to keep and hire quality employees, often times hiring individuals who seem to have little to no experience or have no customer service abilities. Upon my visit yesterday, the line was officially crossed. I am not a naturally outgoing person and prefer to have a silent, peaceful haircut experience. However, upon my arrival yesterday, I was greeted by a member of the LGBTQ community who was very vocal on their political views the entire time I was receiving my haircut. As someone who works in Customer Service, this was completely inappropriate. I have never spoken a word to this individual in my life, and for him to spill his political views on me in a professional environment is completely unacceptable. I hope that all Treasure Valley Great Clips location compiling into one franchise will help eliminate these types of interactions and create a more experienced and professional environment. Ultimately, I will not be returning to this location.
