Very professional and proud of the end result of their work. This particular visit I had the pleasure of getting my hair cut from a woman named Bell. A very petite attractive intelligent woman. She spoke fondly of her family. Despite the cold raw December day I visited she gave me a sense of warmth and dedication I rarely experience. She was straightforward and dedicated to her craft. Making sure to ask questions and listen attentively. If anyone deserves praise it should be Bell. She exemplifies what it means to be a hair care professional and just a decent human being. I applaud Great clips for hiring this invidual. She is an ideal asset to the company. In my opinion of course. Thanks for a job well done.

My daughter sat perfectly still so a wiggly toddler was not the cause. Disappointed. Wishing I didn’t tip the hairdresser.
- JJJessicaOct 21, 20254.0I got my hair cut because I had messed it up. Usually I trim my own hair so I only have to pay to get it cut maybe once a year so I have some sort of guide to trim it by. It has been prolly 2 years since I've had it professionally done n when I did she messed it up too. She was a very sweet lady n I'm not gonna say which location she was at cause it wasn't that she didn't want to do a good job she just thought she knew better than I did what I wanted despite trying to tell her repeatedly. So the next morning I called another location n they got me right in and fixed it for me. Was only a minor fix but that isn't the point. The point is that ppl make mistakes I don't expect perfection. What impressed me was the way I was treated in the aftermath. They have a satisfaction guarantee so I didn't have to go back to the same place n deal with the awkwardness of not wanting the same lady to fix it as messed it up.

- MNM NOct 11, 20211.0I arrived there when there was absolutely NO customers at this facility and no cars parked in front of this establishment. The clerk came out of the back room as soon as I entered the door. I asked about a hair cut and she asked if I had made an appointment online to which I replied, "No." Although there were NO customers in the chairs, no customers in the store, she told me that she could not get to me for at least 65 minutes and asked if I could wait! I told her that I could not wait that long, as I looked around at the empty salon chairs and customer seating. I am a regular customer at their Waterloo and Marshalltown store locations and have never experienced such poor customer service. I have no intention of ever revisiting this location again. They actually turn down walk-in customers, with empty chairs and no employees working on any customers and ask you to wait 65 minutes! What a poor excuse for a business! I left without a haircut...and wonder how many other walk-ins have experienced the same poor service!
