  I don’t usually shop at Lush, however I had been kindly given a gift card, so wanted to give it a try! Upon walking into the store, I was greeted by Alena, who promptly asked if I needed any help. I explained that I have never shopped at Lush before and that I have sensitive skin. Alena then spent 10-15 minutes, taking me around the store, pointing out all the items she felt would be best suited to me. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the products and it has been a while since I have experienced customer service as good as this. As a result, I left the store happily, with 3 new products to try and I feel I will become a repeat customer. Thank you again Alena, you are a credit to your store!

  Wow!!! Thanks again to your amazing team who was fantastic with my daughter. I really appreciate the way they interacted with her especially as she was a bit overwhelmed due to it being so busy. Carmen who done the product making was great with her. There was also another lady but I forgot to get her name. But to be honest, all the staff in this shop has been fantastic!! Will definitely be returning!

  Thanks so much to Maddi today for being so patient and kind to our two kids. We bought quite a few bits and our kids wanted to play with the shower jellies. Maddi really engaged with them, including being so accommodating with regards to my son who has SEN - and they had so much fun. You really made an impression on them and even got some extra sales with the Fun and some other bits. Thank you, the world needs more of you! Also had great service at the till from Jack, and the Manager (didn’t get her name) on the second transaction I did - but great baby G watch too!! 😁

  Lush is usually such an inclusive and friendly place for everyone, which is why our experience yesterday was so disappointing. My friend and I visited the Trafford Centre store with our daughters, aged 6 and 5, for a lovely girly day out. The majority of the staff were absolutely wonderful, but unfortunately one member of staff left us feeling quite disheartened. I completely understand that not everyone feels at ease around children, but it was upsetting to see our girls being looked down on and spoken to in such a rude manner. They were simply two excited little girls, enjoying the experience, asking questions and looking around the shop. They weren’t being disruptive or causing any problems. I wish I’d taken the staff member’s name, as I would have raised it directly. Instead, I chose not to let it spoil what was otherwise a lovely day. I do want to mention that the lady giving hand massages was absolutely fantastic. She was so warm, patient and kind with both girls, and she really embodied the welcoming atmosphere I’ve always associated with Lush.

  WOW what a wonderful time we had instore today. I didn’t realise retail experiences could be this good. I visited with my 3 yo daughter who was totally in awe once we walked in. I have bought her bath bombs online, this was her first visit. She was wanting to touch things and smell and I felt a bit nervous given she is still learning. I needn’t have. Shantanu spotted us right away and engaged with my daughter. I explained it was her first instore visit, but she’d had a few different lush products at home already. He asked if she’d like to try a bath bomb and see what colours it makes. She had a BLAST!! We tried all sorts of different products - all new to us - and we left with most of those to enjoy at home. Every staff interaction was truly warm and kind - without being overbearing. I would go out of my way to visit this store again and highly recommend to friends of mine with little ones. Shantanu mentioned that there is the oppty to make a bath bomb instore too, so we will be back… soon! THANK YOU Shantanu for your kindness - you totally made our day!!
