I have twin grandsons who are both in wheelchairs and non verbal. They are very alert to their surroundings and really enjoy visits to LUSH.
When they to LUSH, Hanley they are very welcome and are given a warm bowl of water and a bath bomb to share and feel as it melts, wonderful.
The staff Leanne, Kim, Corrie, Serena and Jack are an amazing team and I hope LUSH appreciates all the services they offer to everyone. Very well done everyone x

I had a valentine's bath bomb class today, which was absolutely incredible! Our host, Kerry, couldn't have been more helpful or attentive. She was so kind and friendly, we couldn't stop smiling. Kerry is an absolute credit to the team! Please host more events! And thank you to the manager too, I think, he was very kind also! What a great galantines it been! Thank you <3

Lots of great products, the staff in the shop are not pushy. If you're unsure of a product they will let you test or give you a sample.

Are you hiring?
When we hire, we will post on Indeed and the job advert will appear on the Potteries Shopping Centre vacancies page on their app. We will also have a sign in the window.
Are you following Covid guidelines?
YES! We control the amount of customers in the shop at any one time. We have sanitiser available on entry and soap curls available by the sink so you can wash your hands.
Face coverings are welcome but not mandatory.
We sanitise baskets and card machines between uses.
We regularly sanitise surfaces and touch points.
Covid marshals are present in the shopping centre.
Are your products suitable when pregnant?
Yes. In all stages. The only products we advise against using is the CBD range.
Are products safe for sensitive skin?
It depends on what you are sensitive to. All our ingredients are clearly labeled in English on the packaging. In cases where the product is naked, the ingredients are on the signage.
There is an ingredient guide on the website which has more information on the ingredients and where they come from.
If you are unsure what exactly you are sensitive to, our products are generally regarded as great for sensitive skin. Lush source as many ingredients from nature as possible but you may want to get the advice of a sales assistant beforehand and we may be able to sort a trial sample too.
Do you donate to charity?
We have a product called Charity Pot. All sales of this lotion (minus VAT) will go straight to grassroots charities. If you have a charity which can benefit from this fund, there are application forms on Lush.com.
We also do regular charity events and campaigns which raise money for human rights, animal protection and environmental issues around the world.
We no longer give product donations for fundraising purposes (e.g. for a raffle prize). Instead we prefer to donate products directly to charities who have clients who will use our products - e.g women's refuges, homeless shelters, hospices or refugee groups. Please enquire at your local shop if you are involved in a group like this.
Please note that Lush is a vegetarian company, and these values also extend to the charities we support. We do not donate to charities that conduct or fund animal testing; this applies to most medical charities.
How do I know what will work on my skin?
We can offer thorough and detailed consultations so you leave with the products are best suited for your skin. Please just ask.
What are your quietest times?
Our quietest shopping times tends to the be first and last hour on weekdays.
We also participate in the centre's autism hour. This is a quiet hour during the first Monday of every month, between the hours 4pm and 5pm. This is when shops reduce light levels and turn off music for a less stressful experience.
Can I buy Snow Fairy?
Snow Fairy products are a seasonal range. You can buy Snow Fairy on the run up to Christmas/Yule.
So from around the end of September to the end of December.
Snow Fairy scent is available all year round in the form of Bubblegum Lipscrub. We also have plenty of wonderful, iconic Shower Gels and Body Sprays for you to try while you are waiting for Snow Fairy to return.
Is Lush Vegan?
Lush is a vegetarian company, but we’re not completely vegan. At present, around 80% of our products are suitable for vegans, but there are a few ingredients like milk, honey, lanolin and eggs, which are beneficial for the skin or hair, and which we use in some of our products. However, we always keep vegans in mind when formulating new products, and we try to ensure that there is a vegan alternative available in all of our different ranges. All our vegan products are clearly marked, so you can make an informed choice about the products you use.
