  Would not recommend Amina and unfortunately won’t be returning. The positive reviews did not reflect my experience. I had been growing my eyebrows out for over four months specifically so that I could have them professionally shaped. Amina was very well reviewed online, so I trusted that at £31.50 I would receive a really good professional result. My brows were not mapped out before they were shaped, which surprised me given how much growth I had deliberately left for the technician to work with. Unfortunately, my eyebrows came out noticeably asymmetrical. As the photo shows, one brow has been left considerably flatter while the other has a much higher and more defined arch. The tails and middle sections also don’t feel well balanced, there are still stray hairs, and the tint came out darker than I expected. I genuinely feel I could have achieved a better result myself at home. I was also uncomfortable with parts of the service. I declined having my brows tinted twice but continued to be encouraged to have it done before eventually agreeing. I don’t think a customer should have to repeatedly decline something in order for their preference to be accepted. The most unprofessional moment was when Amina asked whether I had recently had any procedures done. I answered no, because I haven’t had anything done in years, and she laughed three separate times. She covered her mouth and apologised for laughing, but I found the reaction immature, unprofessional and uncomfortable, particularly when I was simply answering a question she had asked me. At one point she also referred to me as “pookie”, which I found similarly immature and unprofessional in the context of a £31.50 professional appointment. Amina was otherwise pleasant enough personally, but between feeling pressured after declining the tint twice and agreeing on the third time, the laughing, and ultimately being unhappy with the actual shape and colour of my eyebrows, I was very disappointed with the experience. After spending months growing my eyebrows out and specifically choosing this technician because of the positive reviews, I expected a considerably better result and a more professional experience. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this technician or salon to a friend.

  Emily was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. I was nervous about which brow treatment to go for, she talked me through all the options and guided me so reassuringly. I was delighted with the end result of brow tint & wax and have already booked my next appointment! Well done Emily ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
