Welcome to Lush Ipswich! Our store has a large double door which opens outwards, and is pinned back during opening hours. There is a slight incline entering the store, that is textured to avoid slipping and provide grip.
Our store is on one flat level and well lit. The inside of the store has predominently recycled-plastic units lining each side of the wall, and there are waist height product display units running through the centre of the store with wide, clutterfree pathways either side. The till is easily accessible from all areas of the store and is located at the front of the shop on the right hand wall.
We are now providing a Order and Collect service via the Lush website (www.uk.lush.com) where customers can order and pay online, to collect in store, as soon as stock is available. Live stock updates will be provided on the Lush website. This service can be utilised by everyone.

My son has additional needs and once he has his mind set, it’s very hard to change it. We went into the party with an unhappy boy who was adamant he wasn’t participating, until he met Meg. Meg soon took him under her wing and hosted the best party ever. It was so much fun from start to finish, with everyone enjoying themselves. All the adults were laughing and really involved. Annabel & Josh were also amazing and catering to our every need. We couldn’t have picked a better threesome to host our party. Thank you 😍

Do you do parties?
Yes! We have a party package which is £25 per head and includes product making and exclusive products. Pop in, call or email us for more details.
Do you do products for men?
All of our products are unisex and suitable for anyone. If you kow what products they would like to use and what kind of smells they might like, we can help you find something.
Do you do boxes or gift wrapping?
We have a large range of tailored gifting options, including knot wraps (like a scarf), either made of recycled cotton or recycled plastic bottles, which we can wrap your items in.
Do you have Snow Fairy?
Snow Fairy is and has always been a Christmas product. She usually returns at the end of September and will be here up until the end of Christmas Eve.
Do you have bath bombs for children?
All of our bath bombs are suitable for ages six months and up, as long as the child doesn't have any allergies or intolerances. Pop in and have a chat for some appropriate recommendations.
Do you have anything for sensitive skin?
We have lots of products which are suitable for different types of skin. Come in and have a consultation for some recommendations and samples.
Do you do samples?
We are able to sample most potted and bottled products. Pop in for a chat about the products you would like to try and we can make some recommendations. If it's a product we are unable to sample, such as a shampoo bar or another solid product, you can try it for a week or two and return it if it is not to your satisfaction. With a receipt we can give you a refund, without one we can exchange it for another product.
Can I return items?
Yes! We have a no quibbles returns policy. This means that you can return products which aren't suitable for a full refund upon production of a valid receipt. If you do not have a receipt, we can exchange for a product equal to the value of it's current selling price.
What happens to the plastic packaging when it is brought back to the shop?
We send it all back to our factory down in Poole, where we now do our own recycling! The black plastic pots are chipped down and made into more black pots and the other tpes of plaastic are recycled too. Please bring them back nice and clean, so that we can send them back straight away!
Do I get discount for buying multiples?
No. We ensure that everyone in the chain leading up to the sale of the product is paid a fair wage, whether they produce and ingredient, work in the factory, or are in one of the branches. As such, we don't offer discounts, as then it would reduce the amount we are able to pay people.
Do you donate raffle prizes?
We don't. When we donate products, we prefer to do so to smaller, grassroots charities, where the products will go directly to the people who need them. We have a community noticeboard in store if you wish to promote a local event with an A4 or A5 poster.
Will you be having a sale?
If we are going to have a sale, we are usually told a couple of weeks before Christmas. Before this, we cannot guarantee that there will be one. Products in the sale will just be what is left after Christmas, so there are no promises that a particular product would go into the sale, should we have one.
Where is the nearest Lush Spa?
The nearest Lush spa to Ipswich is London, Oxford Street. There are also spa stores in Poole, Liverpool, Birmingham, Bath, Edinburgh, and Leeds.
How old do you have to be to work at Lush?
You have to be at least 16 to be able to work at Lush.
Do you have any vacancies?
When we have a vacancy, we always advertise in the shop window. Keep an eye out and pop in to ask for more details when you see a poster go up.
Are Lush products suitable for children?
ALl Lush products are suitable for children of six months and above, as long as they don't have any allergies or intolerances. If you are not sure, pop in and have a chat to us. We can make some suitable recommendations.
Can I bring back my empty pots to be refilled?
We don't currently offer a refill service. It is something which is being looked into, but for the time being, we accept any piece of plastic Lush packaging back in exchange for 50p off of your purchase per piece of packaging, or five pieces for a free fresh face mask. We recylce all of the plastic ourselves at our factory in Poole, so you don't have to worry that it will go to landfill if you bring it back. All we ask is that they are nice and clean!
Can Lush products be used while pregnant?
We believe that most Lush products are safe to use while pregnant. However, if you are unsure, pop in and have a chat with a member of staff, then you can decide what is best for you.
Do you take bottle tops?
We no longer accept plastic bottle tops back. We have replaced the area of the factory which recycled them with a recycling plant for our own packaging. This way we can ensure any of our plastic packaging which is returned to us will be recycled and not end up in landfill.

We do not offer NHS or Bluelight discount.
Are there parabens in any products?
We currently use plant based parabens in some of our potted or bottled products as a preservative. We have been using them for a long time, they are tried and tested, as we believe they are safe to use. There are an increaing number of products in store which are self-preserving, and they contain other ingredients which preserve the product without compromising the shelf life. Also, none of the solid products contain any kind of preservative in them at all. If you are unsure, pop in and have a chat, we can make some recommendations.
