  A big thank you to Jordan And Meg who came and did an educational visit at our alternative provision. The sensory experience was a bit hit with our children. They inspired one of our children so much they are keen to get a job there when they are older! I would recommend for anyone trying to organise a school workshop - as well as the creative element they played some games to encourage teamwork and taking turns. Thank you!

  5 stars for delivering an exceptional customer experience. I went in looking for a new scent and was staggered by the service I received, I didn't get the name of who helped me but they described the scents in such evocative and relatable ways, such as pink and blue cola bottles in a petrol station. I could have stood, listened and smelled all day. Alas it was closing time but I didn't feel rushed out. I came away with a bottle of vegan leather jacket and I am obsessed with it. Thank you.

  This is a review I should have left a long time ago, but I had so much going on at the time. I’ve just come across the scarf I bought from Lush, and it reminded me of the kindness I received that day. So, better late than never! I came into Lush looking for a lipstick. I wanted a bright red shade because I had my divorce hearing coming up, and I wanted a colour that would scare the devil back into his seat! 😂 The girl who helped me — and I’m ashamed to say I can’t remember her name — had the most incredible tattoos. She had floral tattoos across her throat, which I told her made her seriously hardcore! She also had tattoos all down her arms and hands, and even one on the side of her face! I’m really hoping this description helps you work out who she is! She wasn’t just incredibly helpful; she somehow knew exactly what I needed. I was beyond stressed, and she gave me space to talk, laugh and simply lean on her for a little while. She made me feel completely at ease. When we got to the till, I spotted the scarf. The scarf that, without me realising it at the time, would remind me of who I am. She was actually the one who picked it out for me because we both laughed at the huge, bold KARMA written across it. Then, as if everything she had already done wasn’t enough, she went and got me a Karma candle. She told me to go home, kick my shoes off, pour myself a big glass of wine and light my new candle as a way of closing that chapter. She was right. I could breathe. Now, I know this is technically a review of a shopping experience, but the listening, kindness and laughter she gave me went so much further than what you would ever expect from someone simply working in a shop. For a little while, she made me feel seen. She made me feel heard. And at a time when I really needed it, she reminded me that I was going to be okay. I really hope she sees this and knows just how much that small act of kindness meant to me. Never change, Lush crew. You never know whose day you’re making, or just how much someone might need that little bit of kindness. ❤️

  I love a Lush at the best of times, it’s always a go to for me, but I cannot stress how much I loved THIS particular store, the staff are an absolute credit to the brand, they were so funny, and chatty (and cool) - with lots of amazing recommendations as one comes to expect of any Lush, but also just able to take the time to chat about the many things we all had in common. The personal touch makes all the difference. As well as being the highlight of my trip to town for work, they know these products inside out, they knew exactly what to reccomend based on what I needed, and they are just a credit to the brand, honestly the representatives any company would be lucky to have. Jon, Mel, Georgia and Sy were all so brilliantly fun and to top it off excellent at their jobs! I cannot reccomend them enough, honestly the company is so lucky to have them in this store, a real credit! I will be making excuses to head down to Ipswich (from Manchester of all places) and when I do, I’ll definitely call in (not to take anything away from the wonderful staff we have in Manchester, but these guys are too special to miss out on a chance to see them!) - As we say in the world of Dungeons and Dragons- these guys rolled a Nat 20 on their charisma check!
