May Fair Spa
The May Fair, A Radisson Collection Hotel, London, LND
A hidden gem in London! I attended after receiving a gift voucher for my birthday and chose to have a hot stone massage which was amazing. There was complimentary use of the spa facilities which I made use of. Staff were welcoming attentive and the space itself was immaculately kept quiet, peaceful and exactly what I needed. I love the additional touch of complementary herbal tea and fresh fruit available in the relaxation room with the heated beds. London spa choices can be very hit and miss, but I would definitely return here and it’s totally a hidden gem in central London!

I am writing with a heavy heart and profound sense of distress to formally address the deeply upsetting treatment I have endured from the gym manager at the Mayfair gym.
As a paying member, I entered this gym with the expectation of professionalism, respect, and a welcoming atmosphere—unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite.
For weeks, I have been subjected to cruel and degrading behavior from the female manager. Each time I walked into the gym, I was met with cold, dismissive stares and an overall feeling that I was being judged and excluded.
It was as if I was not worthy of being in the space, and this constant negativity made me feel small, humiliated, and completely out of place.
The situation reached an unbearable point when, on 1st of January the manager approached me and cruelly told me that I “smell really bad.” This comment shattered me. It was not only unnecessary and hurtful, but it also triggered deep emotional pain, as I have endured bullying in the past and this experience brought all those memories rushing back.
I requested her that she could have emailed me regarding this delicate subject instead of saying I smell bad face to face and she gave me a very judgemental look and answered and said that’s the most absurd thing I’ve heard and I need your gym card.
To make matters worse, she proceeded to inform me that my membership was being terminated due to complaints about my smell— and demanded for my gym and spa card on the spot, the statement that completely blindsided me and left me feeling unjustly accused and abandoned.
I have never been so hurt and humiliated in my life.
The emotional toll this has taken on me is immense, and I am struggling to come to terms with how this manager has made me feel.
I was so emotionally hurt afterwards that I didn’t even go home, I was just walking thinking about how awful the situation was and how horribly she dealt with it, I was just thinking about the situation and how horribly I’ve been treated by the Manager at the Mayfair gym and spa and how judged I felt and how humiliating that was for me I was on the verge of breaking down.
I believe the Unprofessional Gym/Spa Manager’s name is Alexandra from what I’ve heard from the duty manager at the Mayfair hotel. I would like my keys to be escalated from duty manager to general manager please.
What was supposed to be a place of personal growth and self-care has now become a place of anxiety, pain, and emotional distress.

Had a fabulous body scrub at the spa, really a quality treatment where care had been taken at every moment for the experience to make it as comforting and relaxing as possible. All the staff were lovely.

I had such an amazing afternoon at this Spa! The staff were so friendly and helpful.
I highly recommend the the mud steam room (my skin has NEVER felt so good) and an hour long aromatherapy massage. On cloud nine!
