- KYKylie YeungJun 23, 20265.0This was my second time getting pierced at the Maria Tash Liberty store and once again it was an amazing experience. I had my helix pierced on June 20th at Maria Tash. Before the appointment, I was quite nervous because I’d heard that helix piercings are much more painful than lobe piercings. I brought two Maria Tash threaded earrings with me — the Lotus and the Marquise — and also planned to switch a non–Maria Tash earring to one of theirs. The staff member was incredibly professional and immediately advised that my helix space wouldn’t fit the Lotus design and recommending the Marquise instead. She was absolutely right and it looks even better than I imagined. What impressed me most was the piercing itself. The artist was so skilled and professional that my helix was done with virtually zero pain. I was genuinely amazed — it honestly just felt like the needle passed through without any discomfort at all. He was also so kind, chatting with me throughout the process to ease my nerves, which made the whole experience even more comfortable. Overall, my experience at Maria Tash was 10/10. I’ll definitely be coming back for another piercing. Their jewelry designs are stunning and I love that there’s no awkward transition period of wearing ugly stud as you get to wear something bling bling and beautiful right away. Absolutely love this brand! xxxxx

I was greeted by Quan who took his time to understand the situation that had occurred with my piercing and was very quick and accommodating with offering a solution. I was then met by Sal who was extremely helpful and tightened both my ying yang piercings. He was very professional, ensured everything was positioned correctly, but more importantly was kind and patient with my son. My son: "I love the ying yang" ☯️🖤🤍 Fantastic customer care! I have come back 4 times to get pierced solely for the attention, kindness and expertise I received. The store was busy I would say 2 out the 3 times I went (I got 2/4 piercings in one sitting) and I received the same level of attention. Orla, Demitri and Peter have been an absolute delight. They consultation is not a sell, they style you, give you advice and make the process so enjoyable. I cannot say enough about Peter he is an absolute legend. He is a master of his craft and the piercings he did for me were so delicate and handled with care I barely felt anything. All the piercers are fantastic, however I got Peter and this review shines the light on him. Love this Maria Tash. The service. The stylists. The master artists who pierce. Are your earrings sold as singles or pairs?
Maria Tash jewelry is sold as singles unless otherwise stated. To order a pair, please add two of the items to your cart.
What size jewelry works best for me?
Our experience involves you pairing one-on-one with our stylists to completely guide you through your styling and piercing. There are multiple sizes to our jewelry, but our team will make sure that you are properly sized and confident.
What is the difference between a threaded and traditional stud?
Threaded backings use a screw-on/off design that makes the earring stay more securely in the ear. This is our standard style of jewelry. A traditional backing is also available. This is the traditional style of earring where you have a butterfly back that is separate and pushes onto the post to hold the jewelry in place.
Do I need to book an appointment?
Appointments are available for piercings but walk-ins are always welcome. Appointments are not required for fittings and installs or purchasing jewelry.
Can I be pierced with my own jewelry?
Due to sterilization needs, we do not pierce with jewelry that is not Maria Tash. The best selections from our full collection will be available for styling and piercing. Our styles come in white, yellow, rose, and black gold. You're welcome to bring in your existing Maria Tash pieces and consult with a piercer to see if it can be used for an initial piercing.
How many piercings can I get in one session?
We recommend up to four piercings per session, but this is dependent on the piercings you are thinking about and your anatomy. Our stylists and piercers can best consult with you during your visit.
Can I be pierced if I am under 18?
Yes, please see piercing services page for each Maria Tash location. You must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and you both must bring ID with you. If the parent/legal guardian and child have different surnames, we require further identification to confirm guardianship i.e. a birth certificate. Please check each store policy as age when earlobe and cartilage piercing is permitted may vary by region.
Do you pierce with a needle or a piercing gun?
All of our piercings are made with single use sterile needles rather than piercing guns. We do not use piercing guns as they are not very accurate and cannot be properly sterilized.

The store is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
