Isabelle at Charlotte Tilbury Westfield Startford is very knowledgeable and helpful and patient. I went into the store to seek help covering up my blemishes. I was surprised at how well the products she recommended achieved the look I wanted. I am looking forward to more recommendations from Isabelle in future. Charlotte Tilbury is bringing out some great products these days.

On Friday 12th June, around 12.30pm, I had such a turbulent and grotesque experience here at the Stratford branch. I asked for someone to just swatch some concealer on my under eye, just a quick little shade match. They made my friend and I wait for 25 minutes for a simple shade match. I asked one of the ladies there if someone could assist me, she had straight hair and was of African descent, and she rudely with attitude, told me to sit down. I had some difficulty speaking to her as I have autism and I said ‘apologises for my stuttering’ and she proceeded to say ‘don’t be silly’ with a snarky smile on her face. Then, as I got seated I was told to apply the concealer myself! I didn’t have any makeup experience prior so I just needed some help to apply this. This was absolutely horrible. Then, I asked another worker she was wearing a hijab and a blazer on that day with supposed green contacts, and I asked her if this shade matched me or should I go lighter. She said the obvious and said just go down and then trotted off rudely. There was no one there in the shop! So I don’t understand why I didn’t get the help I needed. This was such a disappointing experience, and these workers need extensive in-house training immediately.
