- RAR AndersonOct 2, 20261.0A really not great experience! The girl at the counter was clearly very young and inexperienced, she asked me what I wanted from my brows and then didn’t do any of it… such a waste of money and I wish I’d just done them at home. The girl put wax far too far down my eye (into the inner corner and on my eyelid) and then obviously didn’t wax that area so then tried to wipe it and it wouldn’t wipe off with whatever she was using. I had to ask her to dye my eyebrows darker because she hadn’t dyed them properly the first time and after she started waxing she’d realised she hadn’t got me to sign the form, so then asked me if I had any of the written concerns… one of which is the scarring that I’d already mentioned 😅 she then waxed the eyebrows far too thin when I’d explicitly said I don’t like my eyebrows thin. She didn’t even brush my eyebrows once she’d finished to tell if they were okay, but still proceeded to tell me they look good. They don’t. Definitely wouldn’t recommend, I should’ve followed my intuition from the initial meeting!

The person who was supposed to work at Benefit was not there for work and called in sick but this was not passed on to John Lewis as it’s managed externally rather than part of John Lewis. Had I not gone to another benefit brow bar in the St James Centre they wouldn’t have known.
- STSophie TaylorSep 11, 20261.0Ive usually had a great experience at the Brow Bar in John Lewis Edinburgh, but today I showed up at 2:55pm for my 3pm appointment and no one ever showed up. I waited until 3:30pm (10 minutes after my appointment should have ended) and still no sign. Several other John Lewis members of staff tried to find her but to no avail. Really disappointed as I have an event this evening I was hoping to have my brows done for.

Beauty Expert (BBE) will kick things off with an in-depth consultation to

This process ensures you’re not just getting any ol’ brow shape, you’re
getting the brow shape that’s right for you. Once you've mapped out your
shape, your Brow & Beauty Expert will work with you to achieve that shape
through a service, product, or both.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY UPCOMING BEAUTY SERVICE?
Brow and Lash Tint services: If you have never had dye or tint on your hair,
brows, or lashes, you must have a 24-hour patch test* before receiving a
tint service. Just drop by your nearest Benefit to get one, no appointment
required. Say no to self-tanning or spray tanning for 24 hours before and
after your tinting service.
Brow Lamination services: If you have allergies to hair dye or perming
solutions, you must have a 24-hour patch test* before receiving a
lamination service. Swing by your local Benefit to get one, no appointment
required. Make sure you haven't had a brow lamination within the 6 weeks
prior to your appointment.

We get it, things happen! We’ll do our best to accommodate. However, if
you’re more than 5 minutes late for your appointment, your spot may be
given to another customer.
