I went into Charlotte Tilbury last week and I was very disappointed with the customer service. It was my first time at the store, I was hoping to find a tint/foundation and asked a young girl for help to colour match me and apply it all over my face so I can compare with my current estee lauder foundation. I normally oxidise with majority foundations from various brands so therefore I needed to see if oxidise before I purchase it as I liked the texture when I tried a small amount on my chin area. The assistant refused to apply the foundation on half of my face. I asked for a sample, she said they're not allowed to give any. So I asked again can you not just apply it on half of the face then. She said its too busy and I need to make an appointment. Bearing in mind there was only a handful of people in the store with available number of assistants and it would've only took a couple of minutes to apply, especially when I have a newborn and I can't go to shops regularly. I worked as a manager for Benefit Cosmetics and even during the Christmas period, nothing would stop me from delivering good customer service no matter how busy I was. Since the young girl refused to help, it really put me off from going back to Charlotte Tilbury. I was recommended the foundation but the customer service left me very disappointed and unhappy. I hope Charlotte Tilbury can look into the type of staff they hire at the Oaks as they don't seem bothered about their job and giving a good reputation to the company.

I came in with my mum as I needed some new foundation. Ashlea was very professional and kind and helped us both select the correct colour. She is a real credit to the team, thank you Ashlea 😊x
