- ZAZoia AliFeb 21, 20261.0I have been a Benefit Brow Bar customer for 8 years in the Leeds Boots Branch and have always had an amazing experience. As I was staying in Birmingham this week I thought I would pop into the Brow Bar located in selfridges to get my brows done. Upon arriving I was met with confusion surrounding my appointment and waited which I didn’t mind as I wasn’t in a rush. However the brow service delivered was below the standard I am accustomed to. I had wax placed below the brow line onto the bottom section of my eyelid (??) and ended up getting wax on my eyelash which was uncomfortable to remove. It felt like my appointment was not ending and when I was shown my brows and asked if I was happy with them I was confused as I still had a lot of hair remaining and asked her to pluck them. Again she showed me the brows and I could see there was still a considerable amount of stray hairs left however as this point the service had disappointed me so much I chose to just quietly accept it and leave. The shape was also not what I asked for particularly the front which I mentioned at the start how I like it, even showing a picture reference of how it is usually done. I am not one to leave bad reviews however the level of service and professionalism was not appropriate and I wanted this to be known. After this I will stick to the Benefit at the Boots Leeds Trinity branch and will not be returning to the selfridges counter.

Beauty Expert (BBE) will kick things off with an in-depth consultation to
ensure you walk out feeling (and looking!) great. Our personalized Brow
Mapping allows you to see which hairs need to go and which need
to grow to achieve I'm-actually-obsessed brows. At the end of the service,
your BBE will wrap things up by styling your brows, so you’ll be ready to

WHAT IS BROW MAPPING?
Our personalized Brow Mapping technique helps find where the brow
should start, arch, and end, and spots any hairs that need to be removed.
This process ensures you’re not just getting any ol’ brow shape, you’re
getting the brow shape that’s right for you. Once you've mapped out your
shape, your Brow & Beauty Expert will work with you to achieve that shape
through a service, product, or both.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY UPCOMING BEAUTY SERVICE?
Brow and Lash Tint services: If you have never had dye or tint on your hair,
brows, or lashes, you must have a 24-hour patch test* before receiving a
tint service. Just drop by your nearest Benefit to get one, no appointment
required. Say no to self-tanning or spray tanning for 24 hours before and
after your tinting service.
Brow Lamination services: If you have allergies to hair dye or perming
solutions, you must have a 24-hour patch test* before receiving a
lamination service. Swing by your local Benefit to get one, no appointment
required. Make sure you haven't had a brow lamination within the 6 weeks
prior to your appointment.

We get it, things happen! We’ll do our best to accommodate. However, if
you’re more than 5 minutes late for your appointment, your spot may be
given to another customer.

parent or guardian present at the time of appointment to give consent for
