I clearly showed the stylist, Farrah, a reference photo of my own previous hairstyle. I specifically told her not to make it medium or short and to keep my hair long, especially because my hair has natural curls/rings. She confirmed she understood. Instead, she trimmed more than required, removed all the curls, and did the exact opposite of what I requested. It felt like she had already decided how my hair should look and just wanted to finish the task without caring about the customer’s instructions. When I questioned the result, she responded by saying, “That’s all I can do. I’m not a magician, I’m just a hairstylist.” She then applied some cream and said, “This is how you can make your hair look stylish” When I tried to give feedback, she became dismissive, said she didn’t want to argue, said “bye, happy holidays,” and walked away. I have never had such an insane experience at any other Great Clips location. This was not a misunderstanding — it was a complete disregard for clear instructions and basic professionalism. Very disappointed.

I went in for a basic haircut literally the bare minimum everyone refused to cut it. They said it’s because I had a cough but beforehand my wife and I literally heard them arguing about who’s going to cut it because it’s not fair. For reference I have very long thick hair and I heard them state to one another if a different stylist was there she would do it. They just flat out refused they’re so unprofessional it’s ridiculous. Then continued to bring up my son who was quietly sitting there after I repeatedly said the cut was not for him.
