  This review is for my experience with hairdresser Brenda and not a review of the salon itself. I went to Brenda several months ago for an angled shoulder length cut, and I was very excited about the results (5 stars, 1st photo) so when I decided to get a short, sassy cut (2nd photo) for summer, I returned to Brenda. Unfortunately, my degree of excitement over my first cut was rivaled only by my disappointment over my second (1 star, 3rd photo). I expressed my disappointment while I was still in the chair, and Brenda replied by telling me that the cut I requested would not look like the photo because my hair is curly. If she truly believed this, I would have preferred to be told in advance, not after she caught a significant amount of my hair off. She advised me to go home and “live with it” for a bit citing “hair shock” as the reason the cut didn’t look cohesive; she added I could return if I still did not like it. I did live with it for a few days but ultimately opted to go to a different salon to get the cut fixed because, unfortunately, I lost my confidence in Brenda’s abilities.

  The best facial. So relaxing and my skin felt so rejuvenating after. The esthetician was so accommodating and made sure I was comfortable at all times.
