I don’t know if they don’t have enough massage therapist working or what but as a local it shouldn’t be this hard to make an appointment. I’m not even trying to book same day booking a week or more ahead and the people on the phone are not helpful at all. They could not care less about losing me as a potential customer.
- MRMiranda Rowe4 days ago2.0The ambiance was pretty but the massages were subpar. We’ve had many massages and this wasn’t up to expectations of a luxury spa. We aren’t even sure if deep tissue was performed because the pressure and focus areas we said we wanted were not addressed and all the focus was on our legs. The bathroom ran out of soap in the men’s, even though we were the first ones there when they opened at 10am. We were told we would get mimosas or champagne when we waited in the relaxing waiting room, but no one showed up after nearly 20 minutes of waiting. When we went to checkout, they didn’t know we put $150 on deposit and had to bring a manager over to find my deposit. I was disappointed because I used to work in the spa industry and it wasn’t even like this in a non-luxury establishment. They didn’t have my husband’s information in their system even though I booked it online under his name and mine. Making sure your massage therapists are communicating about what is being done and are better trained on human anatomy, and that you’re filled with supplies for guests, will go a long way. They automatically add a 20% gratuity on, by the way. Bring cash so you can control the total! A couples massage is over $400!

I left feeling refreshed and will definitely be back.

They also called me to confirm my appointment where I again confirmed my guest. I showed up for my appointment and was told I was only booked for one and nothing could be done to accommodate me. This was an error on the company’s fault and yet my guest and I were punished as we did not receive our services at all.

Spa Reservations
To ensure your preferred appointment time, it is recommended you schedule your spa experience with as much advance notice as possible or at the conclusion of your last experience. Our professional staff allocates time especially for each guest, therefore, a credit card is requested to guarantee these reservations. All spa experiences are subject to availability. Menu service and prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Spa Arrivals
To begin your spa journey in a relaxed state, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. For a new guest, please allow 30 minutes to accommodate completion of your guest profile. Spa robes, slippers, private lockers and beverages are provided for your comfort. Delayed arrival will limit the time for your experience, reducing the effectiveness of your treatment and the expectations of your visit. In consideration of other spa guests, service time will not be extended for delayed arrivals, and the full price of your service will be charged. Please notify our staff if there are any special physical or medical needs or conditions they need to consider prior to your services (i.e. pregnancy, food or product sensitivities or aggressive medications). We recommend that valuable items be left at home. The Woodhouse is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Spa Cancellations or Rescheduling
As a courtesy, you will receive a confirmation of your reservation prior to your arrival. Should the need arise to cancel or reschedule reservations, a 24-hour advance notice is required. A 48-hour advance notice is required for any spa packages and multiple treatments lasting more than 2 hours. Insufficient notice to cancel or reschedule reservations are subject to charges up to full service value. All no show reservations will be assessed a charge at full value of services. Spa Parties are subject to terms of agreement for cancellations.
Spa Requirements/Age Restrictions
So that all guests may experience a pleasant and peaceful environment, we ask that only those receiving services accompany you to the spa. Most Woodhouse Spa services are reserved for adults to preserve a relaxing spa environment.
All services: Guests must be 18 years or older, unless noted below.
Facials: Guests 16+ may receive a facial with a parent or legal guardian present in the spa for the entire service (in another service or the relaxation room). The parent/guardian must check in with the minor and remain on property.
Alcohol is available to guests 21+ only. Valid ID may be required at any time.
Woodhouse Spa reserves the right to limit or decline services for underage guests.
Spa Payments, Gratuity, and Gift Cards
Payments are accepted in the form of Cash, most Major Credit Cards and The Woodhouse Day Spa Gift Cards. The Woodhouse Day Spa® gift card contains value which may be used to purchase products and services at face value. This card cannot be used to purchase other gift cards. The card must be presented at time of purchase and the available balance will be applied to the transaction. Prices vary by spa and are subject to change without notice. Spa locations are individually owned franchises solely responsible for any and all gift card liabilities at their respective locations. Redemption of this card is subject to certain restrictions and expirations set by each spa location or state regulation. Should this card be redeemed at another location, the card will be redeemed at face value. This card is non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash. Any unused balance will remain on the card. This card is not transferable and The Woodhouse Day Spa® is not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged or unauthorized use of the card. No express or implied warranties apply. Series of services are not refundable, but can be converted to spa credit.
There will be a $50.00 fee each time a check is returned as well as any incurred charges for collection of payment owed.
Gratuities are not included in the value of the services and are at the discretion of the guest.
Spa Products and Returns
In keeping with The Woodhouse Vision, purity and quality are essential elements in our skin and body care products. In the event you are not satisfied with a skin or body care product, you will be given spa credit if the product is returned within 30 days of purchase. For other retail items, a refund will be issued as spa credit or back in the form of which payment was received within 30 days of purchase.
