  Bad experience today. WASTE IF MONEY. I Should have read reviews for all JC Penny Salons before I went. First I found a 20% off coupon for any salon service $30 or more for first time visit. I asked Aleda if I could use the coupon for the services and she said she didn’t know. I asked her several times and she said she didn’t know because she could only check after I completed services and checked out. I was not pleased with the service. I visited the salon to hair my hair colored. Aleda asked if I wanted to have my hair straightened so I had straightening and ends clipped. My hair was not straightened. It was hard and stiff. It appeared that my hair fell out during the service. She seemed to be struggling blow drying my hair. Aleda went to get the broom and swept up hair after she blow dried my hair. I didn’t think to look or ask at that time but now I wonder why it was necessary to sweep up hair after blow drying. I kept saying my hair was very thin. My hair was very thin around the edges in front and on the sides. My hair looked ball in the top. I continued to tell her my hair was very then. She said don’t pull your hair. After she straightened my hair, I told her it was not straight. She blamed it on my hair being natural which I know is not true. I showed her a picture of a family member with natural hair that has never been relaxed and her hair was very straight. It’s what I expected my hair to look like. After Aleda finished she rushed me out. She left me sitting in the chair and hurried to the register to check me out and told me to come on and check out.i was so rushed that I didn’t think about the coupon. She didn’t mention the coupon. I left with my hair frizzed and coarse. I realized afterwards that I paid $70 for color, $70 for straightening and $25 for clipped ends and my hair looked a mess. AND I didn’t get to use the coupon. I wish I had not gone to JC Penny salon. The color is fine but somehow my hair came out and I spent $165 plus $16 tip for poor services. Color was the only service I’m satisfied with and I’m very dissatisfied with the loss of my hair. Don’t go to JC Penny Hair Salon in Newnan. AWFUL HAIR EXPERIENCE. JC Penny does not care that their salon employees destroy client’s hair. JC Penny replies by saying call a number and talk with a representative. When you call, the representative is clueless as to why you called. She said why are you calling? There’s nothing I can do. Are you trying to reach out to the salon? They tell you to call so cutting they care. JC Penny does not care. If they cared, they would have incapable salon staff. DO NOT GO TO JC PENNYS HAIR SALON. This is a warning.

  We walked to the salon area of the store where a young lady was putting away boxes. We literally stood at the salon sign in area for a good 5 minutes while she walked in and out of the store. Nobody approached us at all and then my wife asked “excuse me, we are here for a hair cut”. It was only then she said the stylist just left for the day. No sign, just the google page said open and no communication until prompted. I would stay away.
