- ZSZack SNov 17, 20251.0I specifically asked the lady (Betty) that was taking my number and pulling up my profile “does anyone in here specialize in fades the most?” She said “we all do, I’m the one cutting your hair, simple as that” All of the other 3 workers had no customers, I was the only customer in the store. I know I should have walked out but she swore she gave good fades so I gave it a try. Long story short, “Great” Clips, you’ve lost a customer for life. While I’m getting the haircut the other workers are saying “if people want a fade they should go to a barber” … LOL WHAT? Great clips website says they do fades, the workers say they do fades but I shouldn’t be asking for a fade? Ive gotten good fades at a great clips, that’s why i ask who does them the best but she got offended for me asking. I will take your advice, I WILL go to a barber so they can FIX my hair, and never walk into a great clips again.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
