- GSGarth SMar 6, 20261.0I am writing to report a disappointing experience at the Great Clips salon located at 1635 Old Highway 41, Suite 103, Kennesaw, GA 30152, on February 24, 2026, around 2:30 PM. After checking in, I clearly instructed the stylist to cut my hair shorter than what is recorded in my customer profile from previous visits. I specifically requested a uniform, one-length cut all around. The stylist cut my hair but ended the process very abruptly. She removed the cape, threw it to the side, and walked straight to the register without stating that she was finished, asking if I approved of the haircut, or holding up a mirror so I could see the back of my head and confirm the styling/length. The cut appeared uneven and incomplete, so I had to ask—and essentially convince—her to return to the chair to finish it properly. Her demeanor throughout was abrupt and rushed, and she did not take the necessary steps to ensure the haircut aligned with my instructions or that I was satisfied with the result. This led to an unsatisfactory, uneven haircut and a highly negative experience overall. I have been a regular Great Clips customer and typically value the efficient, consistent service your salons offer. This visit did not meet that standard at all. I would appreciate any suitable resolution, such as a complimentary or discounted service on a future visit, and confirmation that this feedback will be shared with the salon team to prevent similar issues.

When is Online Check-In available?
Online Check-In becomes available five minutes after the salon opens. We accept Online Check-Ins up to the point where the estimated wait time is as long as the salon will remain open, or 30 minutes before closing time at the latest.
Can I use Online Check-In for all types of services?
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
Do Great Clips salons sell haircare products?
