    Hello, disabled veteran here who is originally from Hinesville, GA. I grew up here. My first duty station was here. Are there rude people here in Hinesville? Absolutely! There are also really nice people here too. But I have never experienced rude behavior from hair stylists before and certainly not in my home town. Unfortunately that is what happened here when I went to this Great Clips today. When my mother and I walked into Great Clips, we were greeted by one of the hair stylists who I didn't catch their name. (Susan? I think. Apologies if this is not their name) I was told it would be about an hour wait time to get my hair cut. I was ok with this. So, I checked in and the wait began. A bit over an hour rolls around and I see other customers go back to get their hair cut (which makes sense because they checked in before me). So I stop one of the hair stylists and ask them politely about how much more time it would take before I could be seen. I was then told about 20-25 mins. This is obviously much longer that the estimated wait time, so I responded in a calm manner "We were told about an hour wait." The other hairstylist (Susan?) rudely chimed in "THAT'S AN ESTIMATED WAIT TIME. IT'S NOT AN EXACT WAIT TIME." My mother and I were taken aback by the rude reply to a simple response and inquiry. Less than 5 mins later we told them we would be leaving and their only response was "Sorry!" So no haircut service was performed. All of this coupled with the fact that both hairstylists were cutting hair very slowly and talking to the customers in their chairs to the point it was affecting the time management between each hair cut. I am all for building relationships with your customers. When there is a long wait, balance is key in ensuring all of your customers get seen in a timely manner. I am not someone who likes to make life harder for others. However, I think some accountability should happen here and these individuals who were rude to my mother and I, should apologize to us for being rude and unprofessional. Tone is everything in customer service. If you have a sharp tone with your customers, there is no other way to perceive this, but as a rude action. Be kind to your customers. Do Better. PS: You have been reported to corporate.

    I've been going to Great Clips for a long time. Sometimes you get a stylist that doesn't quite get what you're looking for. No big deal you just ask for another one next time. I know that we all have bad days, I've had my share. Unfortunately we have to work to support ourselves and our families even when we are not well or going through something. I take that into consideration but yesterday I went to the Great Clips in Hinesville. They were short staffed and very busy. My stylist was down right angry at the world. My cut is horrible but it will grow back and will be alright. But I was very uncomfortable the entire time that she was doing my hair. I hope that whatever is affecting her that it gets better for her.

    Overpriced, understaffed, and unreasonable wait times. I don't think I've ever seen more than 2 people working here at a time, and when their website doesn't allow check ins before or right at 8am, I decided to go in. I got there at 8:05 and there was already a 48 minute wait. That's kind of wild for a Monday. Does the salon just not pay employees enough to have a full staff at least a few days out of the week? Just seem pretty crazy.
