- RDRick D3 days ago2.0While I've gotten decent haircuts here, the experience is unpleasant due to the staff insisting that I need to be in their system in order to get a haircut. I don't like all the trash advertising that follows on my phone and mailbox once I sign up, so I choose not to be in their system. I'm about ready to not use Great Clips anymore just because I don't want to argue with them in order to get a haircut. It took longer to convince them that they could cut my hair than the actual haircut took.

Right? Long story short the local barber was not the way to go. I ended up at a great clips off battlefield parkway. And I can't say that I'll be seeing a local barber anytime soon. Thank you to our veterans ❤️ of cosmetology. The great clips in the walmart parking lot with the nice ladies IS the way to go. I will be back!

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
