- HLHan L.Oct 28, 20251.0I just had the weirdest, most unprofessional experience at this Great Clips location that I'm still in disbelief while writing this review. First off, we ran into an elderly neighbor who was getting her hair washed; while they were serving her, the owner/supervisor charged toward us demanding me pay for her. Apparently she assumed we were related, but even if that were the case, what kind of haircut place demands their customers to pay in advance?! The supervisor and the other worker had some disagreement and the whole time the former was yelling "Stop! Stop!" at the worker. After that, although my son and I were the next in line, the supervisor stood in front of her computer for about ten minutes without a word, nothing like, "give me a few minutes, I'll be with you after..." When I inquired about the wait time, she stared into my eye, "I will be with you right now!" Subsequently she did go on to cut my son's hair and in all fairness it was not bad for a $18 basic children's haircut. I did leave her with a $5 tip for the haircut itself, but the yelling, the wait, the staring, the asking to pay beforehand... it was a traumatic, abusive experience. Please avoid this place at all cost for the benefit of your mental health.

We even brought in a reference photo to communicate the length.(nothing complicated...just a reference for length) Stylist acknowledged the reference photo (I showed her twice because the first time she glanced at it so quickly and dismissively that she couldn't have actually processed what we wanted) and then went on to cut my son's hair however she deemed fit. Not sure if it's a stylist education issue (she only knows how to cut hair one way) or that they just don't care. I believe it's the latter. My son was beyond angry when we left, he couldn't even make eye contact with the stylist while I was paying. I put in a call to corporate. After taking the time to read other reviews, this seems to be a repeat problem. Won't return.
