We were treated rudely from the minute she sat in the chair. First, we were told the salon was short staffed so they were not doing shampoos. How do you refuse to provide a service you charge for? I did not ask for a free shampoo. I was more than willing to pay the $10 charge for shampoo. We were the only people in the salon besides one other man waiting for a haircut. Then the hair stylist gave us a hard time about giving her bangs due to her hair being curly. After she trimmed her entire head of hair, she accused my daughter of having nits (lice) so she was going to need to stop cutting her hair---funny this happened right before she was supposed to cut the bangs. I am a registered nurse and after listening to my daughter cry the whole way home, I checked her head for lice. She did not have any nits or lice; rather, her hair was oily and dirty from needing to be washed. I did not have her shampoo her hair prior to going to the salon because I thought she would get it washed at the salon. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. We used Great Clips faithfully in Tampa Florida and never had a bad experience. Sad to say, we will not be using Great Clips in Georgia! Consequently, my other daughter and I were also going to get a haircut the same day and we decided that this is not the kind of establishment we want to support with our business.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
