Even though it was a deep tissue massage, I found myself drifting off to sleep. I NEVER DO THAT...until today. Thank you, Allison and Woodhouse.

- MJMichael Marie JacobsMar 24, 20262.0I don’t like to complain about every little thing, but I feel like I have to point some things out because I booked this experience for my birthday and spent over 500 dollars and spent a good amount of time wishing that my treatments would just be over so I could get out of there. It was boiling hot in every room of the spa. Wearing the robes on top of that was almost suffocating. I went through 6 “cooling” towels while I was waiting for my appointments and the towels were barely damp and I don’t think the fridge they were in was working well. Both of my appointments started 10+ minutes late and according to the clock, if they started late and ended on time or slightly early, I was cheated out of 10-20 minutes of service. The Gua sha scalp treatment that I paid $30 extra for was for maybe 2 minutes of mediocre scraping. It was so hot in my facial appointment that the esthetician did not use steam in my facial, even though I said I would power through. I also don’t like the fact that your estheticians try to add services on without saying that they are additional costs. I made that mistake last time I got a facial at a Woodhouse location and luckily declined an offer of derma-planing. I had booked my appointments carefully so that I would have time to relax and shower before a dinner reservation at 6pm, but as everyone was running late, I couldn’t even enjoy that and had to rush through the shower so I wouldn’t be late. I was 30+ early arriving to my appointment as well. Just overall, I feel swindled.
- CCCCMar 20, 20263.0I usually visit the Avalon location, but needed a last-minute appointment and went to Dunwoody instead. The experience felt completely different right from check-in. I was really looking forward to relaxing, but no champagne was offered, the hot water for tea ran out in the relaxation room, and I noticed the trash was overflowing. I also added the scalp gua experience (since it’s not available at Avalon), but it honestly felt like just a few minutes of rubbing along my edges - not worth the extra cost in my opinion. The massage was just okay. I understand the service was light to medium but it felt like I was just getting lotioned down. My lower back wasn’t hit at all. She was polite and welcoming, but unfortunately I won’t be revisiting this location.

Spa Reservations
To ensure your preferred appointment time, it is recommended you schedule your spa experience with as much advance notice as possible or at the conclusion of your last experience. Our professional staff allocates time especially for each guest, therefore, a credit card is requested to guarantee these reservations. All spa experiences are subject to availability. Menu service and prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Credit cards are required to reserve all appointments, including those using gift cards. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Georgia Licensed Massage Therapists.
Spa Arrivals
To begin your spa journey in a relaxed state, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. For a new guest, please allow 30 minutes to accommodate completion of your guest profile. Spa robes, slippers, private lockers and beverages are provided for your comfort. Delayed arrival will limit the time for your experience, reducing the effectiveness of your treatment and the expectations of your visit. In consideration of other spa guests, service time will not be extended for delayed arrivals, and the full price of your service will be charged. We are located at Perimeter Mall and have an exterior entrance in between Dillards and Von Maur department stores, next to Sephora. Please notify our staff if there are any special physical or medical needs or conditions they need to consider prior to your services (i.e. pregnancy, food or product sensitivities or aggressive medications). We recommend that valuable items be left at home. Woodhouse is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Spa Cancellations or Rescheduling
As a courtesy, you will receive a confirmation of your reservation prior to your arrival. Should the need arise to cancel or reschedule reservations, a 24-hour advance notice is required. A 48-hour advance notice is required for any spa packages and multiple treatments lasting more than 2 hours. Insufficient notice to cancel or reschedule reservations are subject to charges up to full service value. All no show reservations will be assessed a charge at full value of services. Spa Parties are subject to terms of agreement for cancellations.
Spa Requirements
Woodhouse Spa- Dunwoody’s minor policy: Guests between the age of thirteen and seventeen may only receive Woodhouse Spa services following written parental/legal guardian consent and must have a parent/legal guardian present during the entirety of the performed service(s). All minors must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian in all areas of the spa including but not limited to Dressing/Locker Room, Quiet Room, and Retail/Lobby area. Woodhouse Spa will not perform any service(s) on anyone under the age of 13 and reserves the right to limit and/or prohibit services for underage guests.
So that all guests may experience a pleasant and peaceful environment, we ask that only those receiving services accompany you to the spa.
Massage: Guests must be 18+ to receive a massage service. Parents/guardians may not sit in the service room in order to get a minor in for service.
Body Treatment: Guests must be 18+ for all Body Treatments.
Facial: Guests must be 18+ for a solo facial. Guests 13-17 may receive certain facials if a parent/guardian is present with them in the treatment room. (Ages 13-14 may only receive Soothe + Hydrate facial).
Wax: Guests must be 18+ for Bikini and Brazilian wax services.
Spa Payments, Gratuity, and Gift Cards
Payments are accepted in the form of Cash, most Major Credit Cards and Woodhouse Spa Gift Cards. Woodhouse gift card contains value which may be used to purchase products and services at face value. This card cannot be used to purchase other gift cards. The card must be presented at time of purchase and the available balance will be applied to the transaction. Prices vary by spa and are subject to change without notice. Spa locations are individually owned franchises solely responsible for any and all gift card liabilities at their respective locations. Redemption of this card is subject to certain restrictions and expirations set by each spa location or state regulation. Should this card be redeemed at another location, the card will be redeemed at face value. This card is non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash. Any unused balance will remain on the card. This card is not transferable and Woodhouse is not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged or unauthorized use of the card. No express or implied warranties apply. Series of services are not refundable, but can be converted to spa credit. There will be a $50.00 fee each time a check is returned as well as any incurred charges for collection of payment owed. Gratuities are not included in the value of the services and are at the discretion of the guest.
Spa Products and Returns
In the event you are not satisfied with a skin or body care product, you will be given spa credit if the product is returned within 30 days of purchase. For other retail items, a refund will be issued as spa credit or back in the form of which payment was received within 30 days of purchase.
