Not only was this my first visit at Woodhouse Spa but my very first massage as well. I was greeted by 3 young ladies who were welcoming. I was given a brief tour and waited in the quiet room which had water/tea & snacks. I have to note the changing area was super clean and smelled nice. Cristy was absolutely amazing! She was sure to ask about medical concerns or focus points. She made me feel extremely comfortable and the massage was great. I never knew what I was missing! Cristy was not rough and did not apply too much pressure. Everything was perfect. I’m not sure if there were any additional amenities to enjoy as I was only shown the quiet room but I would have loved to enjoy a sauna or hot tub however if they had these amenities I was not shown then so I will ask next time.

I booked an 80 minute massage for my fiancé for his Christmas present, the first spa experience he’s ever had. I heard great things about Woodhouse and believed I was gifting him the best of the best. While he enjoyed the actual massage, every single employee that he encountered was extremely rude towards him. He was consistently met with cold stares and unwelcoming behavior from the masseuse as well as the ladies at the front desk. He felt so unwelcome that it impacted his entire experience. No branch of Woodhouse will ever be receiving my business again and I’m going to ensure those in my orbit know to spend their money elsewhere.

There are so many spa options in Atlanta and this one is just disappointing. My husband gave me a gift card for Xmas so I booked two services, facial and full body scrub. With 15% tip, it cost nearly $500 for 2 hours of services. Upon walking in, front desk staff was fine, nothing of note but hardly warm/welcoming. Similarly, The women’s locker room is adequate but as others have noted, no sauna or stream. Just basic shower. The hair dryer was broken, no makeup remover wipes, etc. I know that’s nitpicking but these are things you expect from a spa at this price point. Facial service was lovely, no complaints. My second service was a full body scrub, which I’ve received at other spas, always in a wet room, so I was surprised when I walked into a facial room. The technician mentioned their Vichy shower broke years ago so now they do them on dry bed. She was lovely but the whole time, I’m laying in gritty/sandy sheets with tanning bed goggles on. Hardly relaxing. But I didn’t complain, obviously not her fault, she’s just doing her job as someone else outlined. But as I’m checking out, the front desk lady asked how my service was so I referenced nicely that it was fine but not exactly what I expected. She proceeded to explain why I was wrong, not even a passive aggressive “apologize for your misunderstanding”, just spoke to me like I was an idiot for not knowing that they deliver a common service that’s unlike how everyone else does it. I didn’t comment that even woodhouse videos show the service with shower, I just paid quietly. As I left, she didn’t even thank me for my business. Will not be returning and highly recommend you spend your money elsewhere.

Allison gave me a wonderful massage. And Brittany was most efficient and professional helping me with a problem that I had. I will definitely give Woodhouse Day Spa in Dunwoody my future business.

I had an excellent experience at this spa location. I had a facial and hot stone massage. The facial was wonderful and the least painful extractions I’ve had. The massage was also incredible and I left feeling very relaxed with no shoulder tension after she worked out several knots. Highly recommend!
