- OMOliver Montesano2 days ago2.0I want to start by saying the piercers themselves are skilled at what they do & absolutely not reflective of the rest of my experience. I had my lobes pierced at Studs & returned eight months later to switch my earrings. My starter pair had edges that caught & caused discomfort, so I came in specifically to choose something more comfortable. When I arrived, I was told there was a 30% off sale. I selected a pair of flat-back earrings & accepted the offer to have them switch them out since I was told it was “included with purchase.” The swap in the piercing room went smoothly. The problem began the moment I stepped out to pay. Suddenly, I was informed that the earrings I was already wearing were “piercing earrings” & therefore not included in the sale—something no one mentioned beforehand when they quoted me the discounted price. At that point, I couldn’t even change my selection because they have a no-try-on policy, which was also conveniently left out until after the fact. They offered me a “10% courtesy discount,” which turned out to just be the standard neighbor discount for businesses attached to Ponce City Market—something I’m already eligible for because I work within PCM. Funny how that information only surfaced once a mistake was made. The real kicker: I was then charged $15 for the jewelry change because, apparently, buying a pair of earrings from them only entitles you to one ear being changed. To get both ears changed for free, you need to buy four individual earrings or two full sets—an absurd policy that isn’t explained clearly & feels intentionally vague on their signage. I can afford the $120 I spent on basic titanium jewelry, but what I can’t stand is feeling like I was misled at every single step of the process. I would give one star, but again, the piercers are genuinely good at their jobs. The rest of the experience felt like a bait-and-switch.

- AAAyesha AdamsSep 3, 20255.0I had the best service yesterday with my piercer Kayla and team at the PCM location in Atlanta. The store is super cute and they were so friendly and knowledgeable. I wanted a stacked lobe to correct an old piercing that was driving me crazy because it was super low. While I was waiting for my piercer to get ready for me the other sweet young lady at the register ( I hate I didn’t get her name) asked me what I had planned for the rest of day. I shared I was passing time before going to see my aunt in hospice and planning her pending memorial service. Once everything was done, I got in my car and when I got down the street, I looked in my bag and saw the most beautiful condolence card from the team. This was above and beyond, and it truly touched my heart. I would recommend Studs hands down and I will be back to buy jewelry and to get another piercing!
