  Kate Barone Salon is truly a 10/10 experience across the board — service, communication, and venue. I had never had extensions before and was understandably nervous, but Kate immediately put me at ease. She was willing to hop on a FaceTime so quickly to walk me through all of my top questions and gave me a realistic quote ahead of time so I knew exactly what to expect. That level of transparency and care meant so much. Roman was absolutely stellar during my appointment and completely calmed all of my nerves. The entire experience felt thoughtful, professional, and genuinely caring. I am so thankful for this salon for helping me feel beautiful again. Highly, highly recommend!

  I have been a client of Kate’s for 11 years, and my loyalty is not given lightly. Before finding Kate, I had experience with other highly regarded salons, including Hair by Crissy (Arizona/California) and other highly regarding salons in GA (that I won’t name because this post is intended to support Kate, not throw shade at local competitors), so I feel confident saying that I am a discerning client with high standards. Kate and K Barone Salon consistently exceed them. Over the past decade, Kate has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to her vision: running one of the top salons in the state while delivering exceptional results, preserving the integrity of her clients’ hair, and maintaining fair, industry-appropriate pricing. In all these years, there have only been two occasions where my hair did not meet expectations—and both were handled with complete professionalism and genuine care. Kate immediately took responsibility and went above and beyond to make things right. On one occasion, when I couldn’t stay for a correction, she even came in early on another day to ensure my hair was perfect before her workday began. That level of dedication is rare. My teenage daughters also receive services at K Barone Salon with other stylists, and we have always been thrilled with their experiences. Every visit leaves us feeling confident, pampered, and well cared for—often with a fun find from the salon’s gift shop as well. As a long-term client who has followed Kate through three locations, supported her through a global pandemic, and trusted her with every hair and beauty need imaginable (brunette, blonde, long, short, extensions, lashes, makeup—you name it), I can say without hesitation that this salon is truly exceptional.   I recently had a treatment here that was intended to make my hair more manageable and reduce frizz. I was genuinely looking forward to this, as the stylist seemed friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, after the treatment, I noticed that my hair was not only still frizzy but also significantly drier than before. Despite my concerns, the salon's response was disappointing. They dismissed my concerns because they have NEVER had anyone else say this about this treatment. They repeatedly asked for my suggestions on how to resolve the issue, rather than offering any solutions themselves. This dismissive approach made me feel like my experience was being invalidated, and I felt more like a bother than a valued client. Customer service is incredibly important to me, and I’ve never encountered a situation where a salon was so argumentative about a client's experience. It’s concerning that they seemed unprepared to handle feedback or address the issue, especially since they claimed to have never seen this treatment result in dryness for any other client. Given my experience, I would caution others about using their services. I believe that every client's feedback should be taken seriously, and a salon should prioritize understanding and resolving issues rather than dismissing them.

  I can’t say enough wonderful things about Kate and her team! I always feel welcomed and that they have my best interest in mind when making decisions about my hair. I have been seeing Kate for years and have had her do my color, cut and extensions and have always loved the end result— I always get so many compliments! Go see her and her team, you won’t be disappointed!
