However, the experience became concerning when the stylist brought to our attention four small blood dots on my child’s skin and claimed they were spider bites. The marks were not actively bleeding, but they were clearly fresh. This explanation was difficult for us to accept, especially since we do not have any spider issues at home, and it is unclear how such marks could appear during a haircut and be attributed to a spider bite. After returning home, discussed with my wife whether there were any incidents or injuries earlier that morning, and there were none, which further raised concerns about what had happened in the salon. As parents, we would have immediately addressed and treated any injury had it been noticed earlier. I chose not to create a scene at the salon, particularly as it was a busy Sunday with many customers, but the incident was disappointing and concerning. While the haircut itself was satisfactory, I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures better safety practices and clearer communication in the future. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
