  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can't say enough good things about Bannexa! She is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. This is the second time she has assisted me, and I’m just as impressed as the first time. Not only does she recommend the best products for my skin, but she also goes into detail about the perfect foundation tone, lipstick shades, and eyebrow products that suit me. Bannexa always takes the time to ensure I leave feeling confident and informed. Plus, her personal style is always on point!   This is the most chaotic and least staffed Sephora I have ever been in. The stock on hand is minimal and the young girls who work here are not all that knowledgeable and do not provide hands on assistance. I asked for help with a concealer and one of them handed me an obviously wrong shade from Tarte that is a product that would never suit 68 year old skin and said, 'The mirror is over there" and then walked away. I was on my own for the rest of the store visit. I tried various testers on my own with no further assistance at whatever available mirror I could sidle next to. When I found someone again to ask the price of something that I had found more suitable on my own, I was matter-of-factly told $53. As she stsrted to walk away, I simply said Thank you and handed her the applicator to dispose of and left. I went promptly over to Dillards and was treated with professional respect at the Estee Lauder counter. I later realized that kids in Sephora had accidentally swiped makeup on my shirt and handbag as they were running by me. I thought Sephora would at least be a better experience than my recent disappointing trip to Ulta. Neither of these stores cater to women who are actually of an age to have the money to spend. I will go back to the quiet beauty of department stores as long as they still exist and spend my $200 or $300 there.

  I came into this store to purchase two of my usual foundations, and while I was being helped, I noticed something really uncomfortable. As I was waiting, I heard what sounded like a code from the manager, and by the time I got to the checkout line which was pretty long someone came up to me at the back of the line and pulled me out to check out earlier. Then I saw them do the exact same thing for another Black woman, skipping over two white customers who were in front of her. It was clear to me they were racially profiling us, and it felt like we were being watched differently in the store. As a Black woman, it’s incredibly uncomfortable and unfair, especially knowing we’re loyal customers who spend a lot here. My advice to other Black women: save yourself the trouble and the trauma. This store is racially profiling, and you might want to shop online or elsewhere.
