  I have been to this salon 3 times in the year I have been here and I have never been disappointed. I came in with the worst haircut I had ever had and Andrew turned it into a beautiful one! I highly recommend Salon Jaylee!!!

  We winter in Florida and I typically don't get a haircut and color while we are here because I don't know who to trust. While my hair was getting out of control I had to do something and I found Emily at Salon Jaylee. She is absolutely fantastic! It was the best haircut and color I have had in a very long time. I was wondering if I could take her back home when we leave in the spring. Thanks for doing such a thorough and great job on my hair. In addition to her fabulous hair design skills she is also a kind and easy to work with individual. I can't say enough good things about her! The other staff at the salon are also great very friendly and nice to be around.

  I scheduled an appointment and was able to get in very quickly which was amazing. Skylar put me at ease immediately, she was professional, listened to what I wanted, and was able to achieve results that worked for my hair. I am very happy with the services and the overall experience at this salon and I will use her again in the future. I thought it was a fair price for color, cut, blowout, and styling.

  I had a very bad experience with Ollie (sp). I am sorry to say he did not understand my explicit directions to exaggerate my asymmetrical style, and thin out a thick heavy area. I told him the area in the back where my hair was growing out needed to continue to grow and lengthen since when it is short it lays wonky and needs length so I can curl it. I should have spoken up when I felt the clippers in the back but thought maybe he was trimming my neck and I also knew whatever he was doing it was too late to stop. I should have spoke up when he kept measuring the hair on either of my of my faces to be sure they were even, once again I thought he must know what he is doing and this was a weird step he used to get to the final style. At the end I was near tears but knew it was too late to fix and just said "it fine, it's fine". I had been assured by the receptionist that I would really like the stylist and he had been there a while and would do a good job! My previous experience at this salon was great but Maria was no longer available. I won't be back.

  Now THIS is a great haircut. The last time I got my hair cut (somewhere else in Ocala), I came home and cried. I truly cried. The kind of tears that come when you finally stop holding it together. I didn’t even fully notice how bad it was until I walked through my front door and saw myself in the mirror. And in that moment, it wasn’t just about hair. It was disappointment. It was defeat. It was the weight of postpartum hair loss, hormones, exhaustion, and becoming someone new while grieving who you used to be. It felt like another piece of me had slipped away.
