Grace did a spectacular job on my haircut today. I left with healthy, shiny hair - I let her take the wheel with her creativity after she listened to my likes & dislikes and comfort level with styling. Will be returning!

I had such a bad experience at a upscale salon in the past, I was so full of anxiety at my appointment with Laura today. Turns out my fears were gone when she listened to what I wanted, cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. My husband loved it. I’ll be back soon for my color appt. Laura was Great!

I had been here once before and had a wonderful haircut. I thought I'd try it again but this time the hairdresser that I usually go to no longer works there. Instead a woman who didn't even introduce herself told me to sit in the chair and complained that my hair had knots in it. I explained that I had driven there in a convertible. I told her I would brush it out and she told me no because that would rip my hair. She had two brushes sitting on her station. Why have a brush if you can't use them? I told her I only wanted to trim and to follow what they did before. My hair was a shoulder length layered bob. Then she asked me what shampoo I use. I told her that I use something Routine shampoo for my hair loss and thinning and she was very sarcastic about it. Every time she would talk to me she would stop cutting. She wasn't really paying attention to the cut and something looked wrong so I was measuring it on both sides of my head with my fingers. She wasn't even going to go through my hair to make sure it was even on both sides. I had to do that. Her hands were shaking real bad the whole time and when I started going through my hair I saw how uneven it was. She told me it was only uneven by a little bit on one side and I had to ask her to cut it to make it even because she was going to leave it. I've had better haircuts at a beauty school. She ended up cutting curtain bangs and angled it on the sides. It looked like a mushroom haircut from the 70s from the sides through the back. She didn't blend any of the layers in and I have big Square choppy cuts throughout that arent even from
Side to side. When I get back home to illinois, I'll have to have it fixed. This was a $31 haircut that my 8-year-old granddaughter could have done a better job at. Steer clear from the hairdresser that has the bleach blonde hair and a big split between her teeth. You will be highly disappointed and waste your money. I will post photos.

I think I need to convey my backstory
I had a brain abscess and had to have brain surgery that left me not being able to walk. talk spell read or write.
So when I went to hair Cuttery, I needed to have a list of what I wanted the stylist to do with my hair
unfortunately, I didn’t convey my backstory to my stylist so we got off to a rocky start
but wanted to let you know that after I conveyed how I wanted my hair, she did a fantastic job
in fact, I got 5 compliments on my hair in one day since she trimmed my hair
So I’m looking forward to having it trimmed another time and I will recommend her because she listened to the way I really wanted it done.
Sometimes I feel that’s the only thing I have control over. so it meant a whole lot that she did it the way I wanted it done Jeanne
