Absolutely loved my time at STUDS! This was my second time going and I got a jewelry change for my seconds and my thirds done too. Tatiana was great, she was so easy talk to and made the process seamless and minimal pain. Definitely recommend going!

Visited a few weeks ago with my mom just to purchase. It was a Monday, so only a few others were in the store. We were not greeted upon entry, and pretty much just awkwardly waited around until the woman behind the counter could help us. After making the selection of the earrings I wanted, the woman helping us said that would not be a problem, just for 2 minutes later to say there was only 1 left in stock, when I wanted 2. I selected another earring, and again, they only had 1 in stock. I'm not sure if the workers make commission off sales, but at this point, it seemed that the worker wanted me to select the more expensive earrings as that's what she kept pushing on to me. After selecting a more expensive pair, unsurprisingly, they had 2 in stock. I then asked if they offered their "spend 200, get a free piercing" deal that they offer online, the woman provided a snarky response that they don't do that in stores, and that it's only an online promotion, which honestly makes no sense since you have to get pierced in person. After leaving the store, I get home to see that my gold earrings were given titanium flatbacks. Given the price that I paid, this was certainly upsetting. Would certainly not return, and would rather spend that amount of money elsewhere.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience here! I got my helix and conch pierced by Tatiana. I felt very comfortable, and had all my questions answered! Got amazing help picking my jewelry as well! Love this place!

I recently visited STUDS with my best friend Rebecca to get our ears pierced, and unfortunately, our experience was a bit disappointing.
When we arrived, we chose our jewelry and discussed placement, and the piercing process itself went smoothly. However, one of the main issues was a lack of transparency around pricing. Before the service was done, no one went over the total cost with us. For example, one of my services was simply changing jewelry on an existing piercing, and I was still charged for it without that being clearly communicated beforehand. I feel like pricing should always be discussed upfront so customers can make informed decisions and feel comfortable before moving forward.
Additionally, my friend has had issues with her earring since the visit. It fell out the very next day, and although she went back to have it fixed, it has since fallen out again. This raises concerns about either the quality of the jewelry or how it was secured.
Another frustration was how difficult it has been to get in touch with someone at the store. Reaching a staff member for help or questions has not been easy, which adds to the overall inconvenience—especially when dealing with issues after the service.
Overall, while the staff was friendly and the environment was nice, better communication about pricing, improved accessibility for customer support, and ensuring the quality and security of the jewelry would really improve the experience.
