I had traveled about 20 minutes to get there and even booked an appointment in advance, expecting a smooth visit. However, I was not allowed to enter the store because I had an electric scooter with me. I politely explained that I had forgotten my lock and requested if I could briefly keep the scooter inside, but the staff refused without offering any reasonable alternative. What made it worse is that there was no proper or safe place outside the store to park the scooter. Also, the store wasn’t even crowded at the time—it was quite empty—so it was hard to understand why they couldn’t make a small exception in this situation. After making the effort to travel and book an appointment, being turned away for such a reason—with no flexibility or customer support—was really disappointing. This experience felt unnecessary and poorly handled. I hope they reconsider how they handle such situations in the future, especially when customers are genuinely trying to cooperate.

- AEAdam EvansJan 20, 20261.0I was walking up to get my 10 year old son a cut and she locked the door on me in ly face with no one inside and over fifteen mins left till close. It wouldn’t have took 15 minutes to cut my son‘s hair. You close at 8. Not 745. Police had the streets closed and we fought traffic an extra 30 mins to get his hair cut only to be tried like that is crazy. He had something important in the morning and he wanted to look his best. Its still not even 8 when i post this.

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
