I went in for a haircut a couple weeks back and attempted to relay to the cosmologist that I am a recent skin cancer survivor involving my scalp. I explained that my hair is just coming back and my scalp recently healed after topical chemo. I showed her a picture of where my hair was missing and scalp irritated previously and she was clearly offended. “You didn’t have to show me that picture you know. That was aggressive.” I’m aggressive for showing a picture of my hair and scalp to the person who was going to be working with my hair and scalp. A professional with a license. She then proceeded to give me a well below average hair cut. I used to go there regularly because it was convenient, inexpensive, and of acceptable quality. They were also always professional before. Obviously I won’t be back.
