  Gary, washed and styled my Mom's hair. He has a wonderful demeanor, made my Mom feel comfortable, and styled her hair beautifully. She looked great when I picked her up for lunch. Thank you, Gary. We'll see you again very soon!

  I made an appointment for my daughter to get her hair cut. I booked a wash, cut, blow dry and style. Fernando was her stylist and unfortunately it was not a pleasant experience. First of all the "relaxing wash and condition" was less than 3 minutes. She doesn't even think he put conditioner on her hair. She is very particular about the length of her hair. He showed her about an inch being cut off but by the time he was done it was more like 4" cut off her hair. It went from almost down to her butt to barely the bottom of her shoulder blades. She is the quiet type to not say anything but I could see it in her face - as soon as we stepped outside I had a crying child on my hands because so much was cut off. Then it came time to blow dry. He refused to touch her hair with a brush to blow dry it, because "we didn't pay for that service". Then when the other guy in the salon told him he was wrong and should be using a brush he argued with him about a previous customer and if that was the case why did he charge her more than me. The other guy told him it was a length charge and he stated that her hair was the same length as my daughters and how he didn't feel it would be fair to complete the service we paid for to the previous client who wasn't even there. So at this point I had enough and just told him to stop and we would just leave. So he did charge us for just the wash and cut but I was very disappointed overall. She left with wet hair. She had a very particular look she was going for. Showed him a photo he barely even glanced at it and just proceeded with the cut. The point of paying extra for blow out and style was so she would know how to style the look she wanted. But he didn't even give her that. I've never left without leaving a tip until that day. I couldn't believe it. We've been going there for years and he pretty much ruined it for us.
