- CCCharles Cowart4 days ago1.0I went there 2 days ago for a simple trim just to cut some length and do a cleanup. When I was there I was taken care of by an older black woman named ‘Chey’ or ‘Shay’, and she completely RUINED my hair! She cut other parts & in other parts left strays, she layered my hair backwards, she cut too much off SPECIFIC parts I told her NOT TO, and to top it all off I SHOWED her an older picture of EXACTLY how I wanted it to be, still RUINED it and I had to go ahead and cut it about 3x shorter then I wanted to because of her garbage work. When I went back to try and have it fixed the next day after it all dried and I noticed the horrible results, her coworkers fixed me up as good as they could, and as they were fixing it, 2 of them were talking about the condition of “how bad it was” and their exact words were, “it’s really bad, she did this, she did that, she did that”. So I’m guessing the woman has complaints like this often. Point being never book with that woman at all she’s trash and will ruin your hair!

They took me after the location nova cancelled on me 30 min before my appointment. I know you can't control everything in life but no attempt was made to reconcile the issue

Walked into the Hair Cuttery as a walk in for Ormond Beach FL area, no other customers, it was just a men's hair cut, number 1 in the side, blended into the top, no top cutting or trimming, just a number 1. I had my hair cut from a barber about 3 weeks ago, this was just to touch it up, they had my hair 2 different lengths on the side, I had to tell the girl when she handed me the mirror, then she didn't trim around the ears, I had to tell her that as well her job, then didn't trim the neck but didn't say anything ill do it myself when I get home, super easy job I could do it myself in a mirror, at the end this cost $37 PLUS THE 20% TIP. COME ON GUYS $44 for this and i had her screw up twice and still have to do it again for a mens 15 min cut!!! NEVER AGAIN! Barbers only from now on, they take pride in the craft and make no excuses, weather you've been doing this for 2 weeks or 20 years come on, stay away from this please please please
