    I had an extremely disappointing and uncomfortable experience at the Sephora located in Brickell City Centre on March 28, 2026 While I was browsing products, a staff member named Ana was standing nearby. Instead of offering any help, Ana showed zero interest in assisting me and was more focused on enforcing policies without any proper explanation. She abruptly told me I could not record, in a rude and dismissive way, without taking a moment to kindly explain the policy. As a customer, I was not aware of this rule, and Ana’s attitude was unprofessional and unwelcoming. Despite this uncomfortable situation, I continued shopping because I needed the products. I was purchasing items from Rhode, and I literally had to push through the moment and tell myself, “okay, just keep going,” just so I could finish my purchase. Even then, Ana continued hovering around me, making the experience even more uncomfortable. The situation escalated when Ana called the manager, Erick. Unfortunately, Erick handled the situation just as poorly. Erick did not ask if I needed help, did not try to improve the situation, and simply repeated that I could not record. After I respectfully agreed and said “okay,” both Ana and Erick continued to stand behind me, watching me closely as if I were doing something wrong. I felt extremely uncomfortable and even humiliated. At no point did Ana or Erick offer assistance, product information, or any level of customer service. There was absolutely no effort to create a welcoming or respectful environment. I am not a first-time Sephora customer — this can be verified — and I have never experienced anything like this before. If it were not for the fact that I truly needed the products, I would have left immediately without buying anything. Considering I paid for parking, took the time to go up to the store, and spent at least 15 minutes there in such an unpleasant situation — when I had many more things to shop for — this experience was completely unacceptable. The behavior and customer service from both Ana and Erick were extremely disappointing and unprofessional. No customer should ever feel this way while shopping. I sincerely hope this location takes this seriously and improves, because this was far below the standard expected from Sephora.

    This was the worst Sephora I’ve ever been to. First of all, the lines felt like they were created on purpose. The service was extremely slow. I made a purchase 200$ and didn’t receive any samples at all. When I asked whether they could at least give me some samples, they pointed at a foundation and said it was too dark for me. Terrible.

    I stopped by towards the end of the evening after dinner with a friend in the area. I was looking for an eye shadow palette for a specific look. Gabriella was incredibly helpful! She offered the same level of thoughtful suggestions and assistance that one of my friends—who is a store manager at Sephora back home— provided.
