    I had an amazing stylist named Marta (Martha?) who did a keratin complex treatment on me. She was so incredibly kind and took her time with me, made sure I felt great about my hair, and made my experience there wonderful. I gave 5 stars but I would give 10 for her if Google would let me!

    DETAILED REVIEW: Terrible customer service and an unprofessional stylist. I filled out a survey expressing my dissatisfaction—not only about the unexpected $10 upcharge for my blow dry, but also about how unwelcoming and unprofessional the stylist was. I received no compensation or meaningful follow-up. I was simply told that “she would be reminded of her training,” or something along those lines. I’ve never had a blow dry where the stylist didn’t first dry my hair before styling it. She began styling immediately, while my hair was still dripping wet, using extremely hot air. When I tried to speak up, she brushed off my concerns. While washing my hair, she barely touched the nape of my neck and lightly rubbed my scalp, which meant my hair wasn’t thoroughly cleaned at all. The $10 upcharge was supposedly because I “have a lot of hair.” My hair is shoulder-length—not unusually thick—and certainly not long enough to justify an extra fee. Does this mean that even if I had my hair cut to my ears, I’d still be charged more just because I have dense hair? To make things worse, my sister got a blow dry from the same stylist on the same day. She has significantly longer and thicker hair than I do—yet she was charged the same amount. Absolutely ridiculous.
