So, my birthday is coming up and I needed a new haircut from my regular hair stylist, Lauren. I ALWAYS go to her because she knows my hair and how I want everything done. She’s the best.
I had came to this salon not too long ago and had my hair done by my regular hairdresser, and it came out absolutely amazing. That’s why I came back today, specifically hoping to get a blowout from her again.
Unfortunately, my experience this time was very disappointing. As I walked in around 2pm, I was greeted by a Spanish woman with short brown hair who immediately started speaking to me very loudly. While she wasn’t saying anything mean, the tone was overwhelming and uncomfortable.
I repeatedly asked if Lauren was available, but instead of answering my question, she kept redirecting me toward her chair and trying to convince me to go with her.
I felt ignored and uncomfortable — to the point that I simply walked out without booking!
This was extremely disappointing, especially because I came in with the intention of seeing a stylist I already trusted. I wanted my regular stylist and I wasn’t able to sit with her because of this situation.
It makes me hesitant about returning, because no client should feel overwhelmed or pushed into an appointment with someone they did not ask for.
I truly hope this was just a one-time incident, but it definitely left me with a negative impression of the salon as a whole. I will return back at least one more time in the case that this was just a one time incident, but I will have my guard up very high.
I have no negativity against my stylist, Lauren because she has always been kind to me and treated me with the upmost respect.
Although i cannot say the same for the rest of the employees in this establishment.

I thought Lauryn was great. She did exactly what I asked for and I was really happy with the result. I did not like the atmosphere in the salon, however. It doesn’t seem like the employee support each other.

I just got my hair done by my stylist Lauren and I am absolutely in love! She truly gave me the most glorious haircut🥰it feels fresh, healthy, and styled perfectly for me. Lauren took the time to listen to what I wanted, offered great suggestions, and made the whole experience so comfortable. I left the chair feeling confident and beautiful. If you’re looking for someone who really cares about their craft and makes you feel amazing, Lauren is the one!
