TL;DR: Avoid Sorelli Salon.
I’ve been blonde for 25 years and wearing extensions for 15. This is not my first rodeo.
Moved here, booked based on Google reviews. First install was decent (color needed tweaking, fine). I kept going back for blowouts and toning to keep everything consistent.
Then the red flags started.
They were constantly overbooked. I was passed around mid service multiple times. At one appointment, four different people worked on my head, including someone fresh out of hair school about to rip my rows out. I respect beginners. I don’t love being the training mannequin.
Second install is where it went off the rails.
After spending thousands in under two months (including brand new extensions), I left with catastrophic breakage, uneven yellow/orange patchy color, visible bead marks from improper lightening, and a scalp so tight it was irritated and scabbed. My hair was literally stretching and snapping. Chemical cut. I looked like I was wearing a ratchet Temu wig.
I went back for evaluation. I was told nothing could be done because it was too fragile. Offered a couple free keratin treatments. Hard pass.
Sarah Hogue spent 9 hours correcting the color and reinstalling extensions to preserve what little integrity I had left. Everyone in the salon was shocked I had been allowed to leave in that condition.
Correction: another 2k.
When I followed up with Sorelli, I was told:
“Unfortunately the images make it look worse than it is.”
From someone who never saw my hair in person.
Beloved, the pics were GENEROUS.
They agreed to refund $447 (a fraction of what I spent fixing their work) and then stopped responding. No refund. No resolution.
I don’t have ill will toward individual stylists. Blonde is tricky. Mistakes happen. But accountability matters, and management completely botched this.
If you value the integrity of your hair, especially blondes and extension clients, please read the negative reviews, not just the overall rating. Ask around locally. I wish I had.

My daughter was very unhappy with her hair. The color was not at all what she wanted and there’s highlights on one side and not the other making it no cohesive

I have lived in Florida for 3!years and have had a tough time finding someone to give me a really good haircut, I’ve had lots of mediocre cuts and some bad ones. I finally found someone who cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it to look. Francis gave me a great haircut and not only that she was personable and attentive. I have already made my next appointment.

I came in for a consultation with Julie because I have curly hair and wanted to meet with someone who knows how to cut curly hair. I have a long history of bad haircuts, which made me very anxious about trying something new. I shared my past experiences to explain my concerns and why I wanted to be cautious with how much length would be cut.
During the consultation, I felt uncomfortable and was honestly holding back tears as the way she was talking to me was very rude. When I talked about previous stylists and haircuts, she seemed personally offended, even though I was only trying to explain that I have had bad experiences with previous haircuts and did not want another one. Instead of feeling reassured, I felt dismissed, upset, and just wanted to leave.
I also tried to explain what I was hoping to get out of the haircut, including length and face-framing details, but it felt like my input was completely ignored. A consultation is supposed to make a client feel confident that their stylist knows what they’re doing and understands what the client wants, but I felt absolutely none of that and felt disrespected from the very start.
