  I am new to The Now Jax location, but love The Now from their LA (Santa Monica) Location from years ago. Maurice was spot on with massage for the back deep tissue. I really appreciate that he asked for what my needs were prior to the massage and followed through with what I needed. I was a member in LA and now a member again here in Jax. Thank you Maurice for a reminder that self-care is necessary and worth it. See you all soon for my next appointment!

  I had the pleasure of receiving a massage from Gabriela, and it was truly exceptional—without a doubt, the best massage I have ever had. I’ve experienced numerous massages in the past, but none compare to the level of skill and care Gabriela provided. I have a pre-existing injury, and Gabriela was not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly patient and attentive, both before and after the session. I felt completely supported throughout the entire experience. I will definitely be returning for future sessions. Thank you so much, Gabriela!

  I had one of the best massages of my entire life today! After having an incredibly stressful and high demand Month on myself and my body, I needed to find a place and masseuse who would be able to correct all of that overuse I had put on myself. I was referred to now by a friend, and when we called and asked who the best masseuse they had was, and they said, Maurice, they were absolutely not lying! He was seriously the best and he was so attentive the entire time, not once did I feel like he walked away, I got a FULL 80 minutes of deep tissue!

Despite multiple emails, no refund or response from management.   My name is Lilly. I’m writing to share a concerning experience I had during my massage appointment this evening at 6:00 PM with Walter, using my NOW membership. After my session, I stopped at the front desk to leave a tip for the massage therapist and informed the cashier that I would be sitting in the lounge area for a few minutes to send a few texts before leaving. She was polite and said it was perfectly fine, noting that the location typically closes at 9:00 PM. It was around 7:00 PM at that time. A few moments later, a manager came out and abruptly asked, “Are you waiting on a ride?” I looked up from my phone, somewhat confused, and before I could respond, she repeated the question in a louder and noticeably rude tone. I found this unnecessary and unprofessional. I arrived in my 2025 BMW coupe, which was parked directly in front of the door and clearly visible from the lounge area, so I was unsure why such an assumption was made. She didn’t ask “Did you need anything?” “Have you been helped?” I could have been waiting to go in the back for a massage waiting on my appointment time. She didn’t know that. I pointed to my car and said that’s my BMW right there outside and explained the cashier said it was okay for me to sit in the lounge area. As a paying customer and active member, I believe I should be able to sit briefly in the lounge after my service without being made to feel uncomfortable or unwelcome—especially when I was not violating any rules or disturbing anyone. When I calmly expressed that her tone was rude, she then attempted to offer me water, which felt more like an effort to deflect from the situation than genuine courtesy. Unfortunately, I couldn’t help but feel that the assumption and her approach may have been influenced by bias, as I am an African American female. I hope this matter is addressed appropriately so other members don’t experience similar treatment. Given this experience, I will be canceling my NOW membership effective immediately. This interaction left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a customer, and I no longer feel comfortable supporting this establishment. Thank you for taking the time to review this matter. I look forward to your response and to seeing how this situation will be handled.
