- SMSam MarkwellAug 10, 20253.0I have been going to Great clips in Hobe Sound for the past couple of years, I know they change stylist frequently and I am actually grateful that Julie cut my hair last week because she did an awful job and I know not to ask for her or let her touch me again. My notes say "standard pixie"I always tell the stylist I want it off my ears I want the curls cut off in the back, my hair came back with a cowlick on the left and curls post chemo. What Julie gave me was a high and tight and the left side looks like she put a bowl on my head to cut it, currently there is nothing I can do except wear a ball cap or a wig. Not a happy camper at the current time,I work, I volunteer, cannot wear a ball cap all the time. Did I tip her? of course I did, I used to wait tables I know people in the service industry rely on tips and the majority of of the clients can only afford a 10% tip, I can afford a $10 tip regardless of how bad the cut is so my tip is not just related to the service I received

When you check in prior to arriving, you get taken much more quickly. I prefer Mary at the Hobe Sound location because she listens to exactly what you would like done, then gives you the haircut you want.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
