    I’m writing this review after my second visit to this particular Sephora, and unfortunately, the experience has been consistently disappointing. Both times I visited, I felt like the staff was unwelcoming and frankly a bit rude, which is really not what you hope for in a beauty store where you’d expect a friendly and helpful atmosphere. On my first visit, I was looking to buy a product and the employee kept questioning whether I even understood the difference between items, which came off as really condescending. Then today, when I went just to pick up an online order, I was met with a dismissive attitude that made the whole interaction uncomfortable. I’ve noticed from other reviews that this seems to be an ongoing issue at this location, so I really hope management takes a closer look at improving their customer service.

    I was sitting down at the place where they do their procedures, i was sitting because i was waiting for my Uber, i would only be sitting there for a few mins. A tall, skinny, very young blond girl approached me saying “i cant have anyone sitting here” in such a rude manner. I have sat there before and never had an issue. I complied, i decided to wait in line to see if i could pickup my bday gift, there was a person holding up the line for some reason, i ended up leaving because my Uber had arrived. The staff here needs to learn empathy!

    I visited the Sephora at Westland Mall in Hialeah on Sunday, December 21st around 8:40 p.m., about 20 minutes before closing. An employee spoke to me in an intimidating and dismissive manner, telling me to leave before I had even entered the store. The interaction felt disrespectful and unprofessional. I came directly from work and was treated in a judgmental way based on assumptions rather than as a customer. I intended to make a purchase but felt uncomfortable and unwelcome, so I left and took my business elsewhere. Sephora should ensure all customers are treated with respect, regardless of appearance or language.

    I’m really disappointed with the customer service during my visit. I approached an associate to ask about a product that caught my eye, and she completely ignored me while I was speaking to her. It was extremely uncomfortable—especially because I could clearly see that she noticed me and even gave me a side look, yet chose not to respond at all. I fully understand that retail can be busy, but basic acknowledgment goes a long way. A simple “I’ll be with you in a moment” or “I’m assisting someone right now” would have been enough. No customer should feel like they’re talking to themselves. Thankfully, another associate eventually stepped in and helped me, but the initial interaction left a bad impression that affected my overall experience.

    First time at Sephora in westland mall Yesterday 12/17/25. This is why I dont recommend it for a holiday purchase: I asked the cashier (i don’t know her name she didn’t have a name tag) to please add my purchase to the app rewards but failed to do it. Next, the cashier handed me a used wrinkled with staple holes for my holiday purchase (which was a gift card). When asked for another one she denied it. She already seemed to have an attitude. I felt the need to look for the manager for a simple new bag. The manager told the cashier that gift cards were handed in a small bag instead of the big one handed to me. The cashier told the manager that she already knew that. I dont understand why the cashier had an attitude. The manager was very nice, she handed me a new bag and the gift card bag too. So kudos for the manager. I understand its Christmas and its crowded but don’t take it out on people. Its unnecessary and very bad taste. - Primera vez en Sephora del Westland Mall ayer 17/12/25. Por esta razón no lo recomiendo para una compra navideña: Le pedí a la cajera (no sé su nombre porque no lo llevaba puesto) que por favor agregara mi compra a la app de recompensas, pero no lo hizo. Luego, la cajera me entregó una bolsa usada, arrugada con huecos de grapas para mi compra navideña (que era un gift card). Cuando le pedí otra, se negó. Desde un principio traia mala actitud. Sentí la necesidad de buscar a un manager solo para obtener una bolsa nueva. La gerente le explicó a la cajera que las tarjetas de regalo se entregan en una bolsa pequeña, no en la bolsa grande que me había dado. La cajera le dijo a la gerente que ella ya lo sabía. No entiendo por qué la cajera tenía esa actitud. La gerente fue muy amable: me dio una bolsa nueva y también la bolsita para la tarjeta de regalo. Así que mis felicitaciones para la gerente. Entiendo que es Navidad y que hay mucha gente, pero no es necesario desquitarse con los clientes. Es innecesario y de muy mal gusto.
