- LRLaura Rumfelt2 days ago1.0I had been putting off getting my almost 3 year old’s hair cut because it’s kind of sad to get that first hair cut done on your baby-but he really needs it so I finally decided to call around to see who would be a good place to go to for a toddler who’s never had his hair cut before. I made a call to the Freeport location and wouldn’t you know it as soon as I dialed, my two toddlers got into a little squabble. Which I of course tended to while on the phone because moms are multitaskers! Anyway, The person who I spoke with made it her mission to point it out by saying oh wow if that’s him being upset then you probably shouldn’t bring him I said well the toddlers just decided now of all times to fight over a toy (very normal for toddlers mind you) so I went on asking if they had anyone with experience with littles who’ve never had a hair cut before when she said they do but that “if he’s having a meltdown you probably shouldn’t bring him” which was so embarrassing! It was totally unnecessary to critique my parenting with the 30 second conversation over the phone we were having. Of course I was tending to my toddlers but it was really none of her business to talk down to me like that. Anyway, needless to say, I will be taking my “tantrum” toddlers to another location and don’t worry they won’t be throwing a fit like they just happened to for the 30 seconds we were on the phone. Maybe you should train your employees not to be so rude and embarrass potential clients.

I cannot remember the name of the one that cut my hair, but she did an absolutely outstanding job Definitely makes it worth coming back again. Kept it a very great friendly atmosphere with jokes and stories. Absolutely love the experience. Would just love to give a huge huge shout out to her and a great works she did.

The stylist asked me how to cut hair and wanted me to explain clipper sizes, which I don’t know. She came across short and seemed frustrated with her job.
