An old lady was sitting out in front of the store on a bench smoking and she clearly worked there cause she had a black great clips apron on. That doesn't look good for any business. I wouldn't want her touching anything on me with nicotine smelling hands. What a huge turn off! She should smoke out back in private, if she wants to ruin her life that way cause nobody wants to see that. So we bypass her and we go in and a black woman barely greets us and asks for our phone number which she clearly doesn't understand numbers that include years and accused me of saying the number 8, which I did not. She was putting the blame on me because she kept getting our number wrong. Then she cut my son's hair but didn't make any conversation with him probably cause she was mad at me for my attitude towards her. He didn't do anything wrong so why snub him? She did cut his hair pretty good though. I would use great clips again but not this location which is very close to my home. And I would have tipped her more appropriately if she greeted us in a friendly, happy manner and spoke to my son. I wish this experience didn't go so poorly. I don't like being that way but I give what I get. I wish customer service still existed but sadly it's a thing of the past.

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
